Essential:

• 6 to 8 years of Procurement experience majorly in IT as well as Non-IT categories.
• Strong understanding of the Source to pay process in captive environment.
• Very good exposure to ERP implementation / environment as a user; specially Oracle
• Good analytical skills
• Excellent Stakeholder relationship skills
• A track record of strong operational delivery by working in a team of Sourcing and Procurement space
• Proven track record of driving change in people and processes, with strong project management, implementation and process improvement skills
• Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity
• Data driven action orientation, with strong reporting, data analysis, presentation skills, and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of project and program management desirable
• Must have worked in a dynamic sourcing and procurement environment with some of the years managing Strategic Sourcing.
• Negotiation and communication skills are mandatory
• Performance management skills
• Learn and retain quickly. SOX knowledge desired

Education:

• Relevant post graduate degree in Business Management or Commerce/ Sciences / Engineering

Introduction:

Our client is in the Manufacturing Industry based in Springfield Park, Durban and they are looking for a HR & Payroll Officer for their company for a 1 - 3 month contract.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administration of salary documents and input into the VIP Premier System.
• Maintaining the Human Resources Information Systems.
• Take full responsibility for the SAGE VIP Payroll & HR program (all training to be provided).
• Uploading of Payslips into ESS.
• Uploading of IRP5’s annually into ESS.
• Printing salary and monthend reports.
• Recruitment and Selection.
• Onboarding of new Employees.
• Engagement and Termination of Employees.
• Employment Equity submission.
• Arrange Training as per budget and staff requirements.
• Disciplinary Enquiries.
• Coaching on Human Resources Policies and Procedures/Handbook.
• Mid year Tax Reconciliation submission through EFiling.
• Tax Year End Reconciliation submission through EFiling.
• Monthly UIF submission to DOL, and monthly submission and payment to SARS on EFiling.
• Liaise with Medical Aid and Provident Consultants.
• Manage Receptionist and Commercial cleaner.
   

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Matric exemption.
• Qualification/s in payroll/HR or finance. Degree or diploma.
• At least 5 years prior experience in payroll and HR administration.
• At least 5 years’ experience in SAGE VIP and ESS.
• Experience in Syspro would be beneficial.
