    Waste Management Youth Graduate

    Minimum Requirements:

    • M + 3 (Matric plus 3 years of study) (Qualification with 360 credits or Diploma NQF 6) in the following fields of study: Environmental Science/Management/Health, Nature Conservation, Occupational Health and Safet, or any other closely discipline at NQF level 6 or 7.

    Primary Function:

    • Manage the process of development and implementation of waste management policies, strategies and plans for sustainable waste management services across the City to achieve the City’s strategic objectives of integrated waste management.     • Monitor service delivery and cleanliness standards, and investigate complaints

    Climate Change Youth Graduate

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Assist with climate data collection, analysis and validation, including GHG inventories and CDP reporting.

    Air Quality Youth Graduate

    Primary Function:

    • To support the implementation of the Air Quality Regulation function and the management of the Atmospheric Emissions Licensing System for listed activities, as well as the management of other control emitters, by facilitating full compliance to the Air Quality Act and other associated regulations, standards and guidelines, while promoting a safe and healthy environment as well as clean air for all city residents.
