Impact Management and Compliance Youth Graduate at City of Johannesburg

Minimum Requirements:

• M + 3 (Matric plus 3 years of study) (Qualification with 360 credits or Diploma NQF 6) in the following fields of study: Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Nature Conservation, or any closely related discipline at NQF level 6 or 7.
• Youth between 18 – 35 years of age, people with disability are encouraged to apply
• Required documents: Application letter, Curriculum vitae, copy qualifications
• South African Citizens residing in the City of Johannesburg.

Primary Function:

• Provide a professional service to the Sub-head, Department, and the public in the review of development proposals and/or applications relating to land use in order to ensure adherence to environmental policies, principles and standards, protection of unique environmental assets, and the promotion of sustainability and environmental quality.

Key Activities:

• Integration and mainstreaming of environmental issues.
• Efficient and effective review of land use applications.
• Efficient and effective review of environmental authorisation related applications.
• Customer focus.
