    Principal Forensic Investigator X2 (SIU24/08/002)

    Main Purpose:

    • To deliver on projects through the provision of quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial, and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions. This role supports the Multi-disciplinary approach (MDA) to all projects/assignments and involves managing, coaching, and mentoring subordinates to transfer skills and specialized knowledge.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience:

    • LLB or B Honours in Accounting, Forensic Accounting, or equivalent (NQF 8)
    • Membership with a professional body would be advantageous
    • Six to eight years of experience in forensic investigations
    • Four years of management-level experience
    • Experience in public sector investigations

    Junior Forensic Investigator - NI (PTA), MP, GP, EC, KZN & NC - 3 Years Fixed Term Contract (FTC24/10/02)

    Main Purpose:

    • To conduct forensic investigations against set deliverables by providing quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial, and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions. This role supports the multi-disciplinary approach (MDA) to all projects/assignments.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience:

    • National Diploma or Higher Certificate in Law, Forensic Investigations, Accounting, Forensic Accounting, or relevant (NQF 5/6)
    • Two years’ experience in forensic investigations
    • Experience in public sector investigations or participation in a minimum of one-year public sector forensic investigation internship programme

    Key Performance Areas (Include but not limited to):

    Provincial and National Projects Requiring Specialist Forensic Investigation Expertise:

    • Conduct forensic investigations requiring investigator expertise on selected projects under the guidance of the Chief Forensic Investigator and/or Forensic Investigator, as delegated by the Principal Forensic Investigator
    • Assist in the collation and analysis of evidence obtained during investigations using appropriate methods as defined in the work plan
    • Participate in drafting initial investigation reports as per prescribed standards

    Forensic Investigation Compliance:

    • Adhere to the conduct prescribed by the communities of practice
    • Comply with policies, practices, and procedures during investigations

    • To conduct forensic investigations against set deliverables through the provision of quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial, and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State Institutions. This role supports the Multi-disciplinary approach (MDA) to all projects/assignments.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience:

    • B Degree / National Diploma in Law, Accounting, Forensic Accounting, or relevant (NQF 6/7)
    • Three years’ experience in forensic investigations
    • Experience in public sector investigations

    Key Performance Areas (Include but not limited to):

    • Conduct forensic investigations on provincial, national, and strategic projects
    • Participate in Remedial Action Proceedings
    • Ensure compliance in the forensic investigation area
