The Foundation & Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing, driving and managing the school’s fundraising strategies and campaigns. You will focus on securing financial support and building lasting philanthropic giving connections with our external and internal donors to directly benefit our social responsibility portfolio.
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s philanthropic giving goals.
Build annual giving programmes, and capital campaigns to support the Foundation’s goals.
Identify, cultivate and steward relationships with prospective donors, trusts, foundations and corporate sponsors.
Plan, organise and manage donor-centric, community-centred events, high-net-worth networking opportunities and impact-reporting milestones.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, contribution tracking and CRM databases.
Create and manage compelling fundraising communications, including donor proposals, social impact reports, appeals, and newsletters.
Collaborate closely with the Foundation Trustees and school leadership to align development goals with community and stewardship initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, capital campaigns or high-level stakeholder engagement
Experience in an educational environment is a distinct advantage
Proven experience with donor database management (CRM) and digital fundraising/communication platforms.
A personal connection to St Peter’s Prep, together with a strong understanding of the school’s ethos, values, and traditions, will be a distinct advantage.
Skills and Attributes:
Proven campaign planning, proposal writing and project management skills.
Excellent organisational and financial administrative abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic, long-term relationships and confidently pitch philanthropic opportunities.
Creative and strategic thinker with high attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
Ability to work both independently to achieve financial targets and collaboratively within a team.
