    Area Manager - Mossel Bay

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • At least 5 years’ experience with all of these linked to Sales, Retail, Fuel, Sales or Marketing
    • NQF 7 (BCom Degree in Marketing/Finance/General Business OR RPL (Recognized Prior Learning) with 10 years’ experience in the appropriate field/sector)
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills
    • Deep knowledge of FMCG
    • Experience working with franchise businesses

    Advantageous:

    • 3 years’ experience as Area Manager preferred
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to make decisions
    • Advanced business management skills or desire to acquire the same

    Digital Product Manager

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Computer Science/ Marketing/ Engineering/ Commerce/ IT Technology)
    • At least 8 years’ experience in managing Digital products, strategy & implementation of technology adoption roadmaps alignment with business requirements
    • Experience in business case design and execution. Digital workplace tool management
    • Data science and Analysis knowledge (Use of PowerBI and Reporting)
    • Experience within specific products (ServiceNow, OpenText/ SharePoint (ECM), SalesForce, Coupa (Business Cloud Applications), Microsoft suite
    • Experience in managing complex Digital Products and Projects

    Advantageous:

    • MBA
    • 10+ years’ experience in a similar function
    • Digital platform course. Experience in developing data models
    • Technical background: SDLC, Agile and Project management

    What you will be doing

    • Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the business stakeholders based on the business vision and strategy including maximization of business value from the product.
    • Produce digital solutions from concept to delivery in alignment with the organization’s overall strategy, architecture, and governance and to meet customer needs
    • Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to create valuable incremental solutions to customers.
    • Manage the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions using best practice agile and lean delivery methodologies
    • Drive user engagement through data driven communications and trigger events.
    • Identify the most impactful changes to implement and support for stakeholders, employees, and customers.
    • Ensure digital product solutions are line with customer data compliance standards and have legitimate interest for our customers.
    • Govern the use and lifecycle stages of the product and manage risks and compliance.
    • Regularly assess product risks, defining, and escalating these risks using the company risk management processes

    • Driving the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery.
