    Training and Development Facilitator

    • As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a passionate Learning & Development (L&D) Facilitator to help nurture and empower our talent.     • As our L&D Facilitator, you’ll play a key role in shaping the learning journey for our employees.     What We’re Looking For:

    • Education: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Higher Certificate or Degree preferred).
    • Experience: 5+ years in training or development, ideally in a tech or managed services environment. Experience with cloud and tech certifications, including Microsoft Azure.
    • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft certifications and partner programs (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet). Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GDPR) in MSP environments.
    • Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple certification programs.

    T1 Support Engineer

    Purpose

    • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an international Managed Service Provider (MSP) - we’re looking for an ambitious, energetic Service Desk Engineer to join the rapidly expanding Cape Town office.
    • The role offers fantastic growth opportunities – work hard, learn as you go and work your way up the support ladder. You’ll be engaging with a range of internationally based clients, so the ideal candidate needs to be well spoken and an excellent communicator.
    • The role itself involves remote support and escalation to the senior support team. As the “front door”, you’ll be representing the business, so the responsibility is on your shoulders to provide a professional and positive first impression whilst ensuring a reliable resolution of customer technical issues when raised via the clients help desk.

    Technical Skills

    Hybrid Cloud Team Lead

    • The Hybrid Cloud Team is responsible for supporting our customers either as a point of escalation from the Service Desk, Cloud Command Centre or in conjunction with other specialist teams within Operations.
    • You will ensure that service level agreements are met whilst delivering reliable resolution of customer technical issues when raised via Cloud Direct support lines, Live chat, email, self-service portals or identified through pro-active monitoring activities
    • You will act as our customer’s trusted advisor, building solid relationships and a sound understanding of their individual needs and desirables to add value through the provision of advice which meets their business challenges.
    • Working with the Hybrid Cloud Team, you will mentor and develop engineers to assist their growth and distribute high-level technical knowledge to all levels of other teams.

    Requirements and Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years working in a managed services environment, focusing on Hybrid technologies, Computer, Storage, and Network infrastructure design, implementation, and operation.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a senior management role, demonstrating a deep understanding of leadership practices.
    • Thorough grasp of project management, ensuring seamless alignment between the team’s activities and project deliverables.
    • Proficiency in Azure cloud technologies, including computing, virtual networks, storage, and databases.
    • Proven track record in planning, managing, and supporting enterprise hybrid environments (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM) and enterprise storage solutions (e.g., NetApp), including archival storage and backup systems.
    • Experience in supporting and maintaining Windows server environments.
    • Good understanding of managing backup environments and processes.
    • Working knowledge of private/public cloud environments and architectures.
    • Solid understanding of network infrastructure services and various networking protocols.
    • Familiarity with Unified Communications infrastructure services.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions.
    • Experienced in analysing, implementing, and evaluating IT systems/infrastructure and relevant specifications.
    • Proficient in commissioning services from third parties and adept at managing relationships with suppliers and contractors.
    • Possess a solid understanding of Hybrid Cloud technologies and operations practices.
    • Proven experience with implementing daily, weekly and monthly checks for various technology stacks based on best practices.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in customer reporting and report creation.

    Certifications:

    • MCSA, MCSE or similar Microsoft Cloud-related certifications.
