    Programme Manager

    • A contract opportunity has become available for a Programme Manager for a client in the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically managing multiple interrelated projects under the HR system implementation program. This includes planning, execution, governance, and alignment with organizational goals in a mining context. The role bridges HR, IT, and operational leadership, ensuring successful delivery of Oracle HCM enterprise solution

    Education, Certification & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or IT.
    • Preferred: MBA or Master’s in HR Technology or Project Management.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional).
    • HRIS-related certifications (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday) advantageous.
    • 10+ years in program/project management, with at least 5 years in HR technology implementations.
    • Mining or heavy industry experience is highly desirable.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale ERP or HRIS deployments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Programme Governance & Strategy

    • Define program vision, objectives, and benefits aligned with the company strategy.
    • Establish alignment with the company’s governance frameworks, reporting structures, and KPI’s.
    • Ensure compliance with mining industry regulations and labour laws.
    • The ability to go from Concept to Detail.

    Planning & Execution

    • Develop integrated program plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Oversee multiple projects (HCM Core and talent management implementation, payroll integration, etc.).
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Operations).

    Stakeholder Management

    • Engage executives, HR leaders, operational managers, and if required unions.
    • Manage expectations and communication across diverse stakeholders.

    Risk & Change Management

    • Identify and mitigate risks related to technology adoption and workforce impact.
    • Drive change management initiatives for smooth transition and user adoption.

    Vendor & Technology Oversight

    • Evaluate and select People Change Management vendor
    • Ensure system integration with mining ERP and operational systems

    Quality Assurance & Compliance

    • Validate deliverables against functional and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure data security and integrity in HR systems.

    Training & Capability

    • Building/Develop training programs for HR staff and end-users.
    • Promote digital literacy and system utilization

    Technical Project Manager (HR Transformation )

    • A mining client of MTS is looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver a large-scale Human Resources technology project, ensuring successful implementation of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, systems integration, and business analysis. The project is focused on Oracle HR systems and candidates interested must have experience with Oracle HCM or similar platforms

    Required Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

    • Strong project management skills (PMBOK or Agile).
    • Deep understanding of solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
    • Advanced business analysis capabilities (BABOK Level 4).
    • Experience with Oracle HR systems and related technologies.
