- We are looking for a hands-on Databricks Workspace Administrator to join a high-performing platform team focused on enabling secure, scalable analytics, AI, and Generative AI solutions.
- This is more than a traditional admin role — you will play a key role in workspace governance, tenant enablement, identity management, and platform optimisation within a modern enterprise environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Administer and govern Databricks workspaces, access controls, cluster policies, and permissions
- Manage Unity Catalog structures, schemas, and governance models
- Create and maintain service principals, groups, and least-privilege access controls
- Support and onboard tenant teams across analytics, ML, and GenAI workloads
- Build and maintain SQL dashboards, monitoring, and alerting pipelines
- Drive platform improvements, automation, documentation, and operational standards
- Support monitoring around usage metrics, inference workloads, LLM token/rate limits, and anomaly detection
Required Experience
- 4+ years industry experience
- 2+ years hands-on Databricks Workspace Administration
- Strong experience managing users, groups, service principals, and governance models
- Experience supporting data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams
- Enterprise or regulated environment experience
- Hive/Glue and JDBC pipeline setup and maintenance
- Strong SQL and dashboard development skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with ML / Generative AI workloads on Databricks
- CI/CD and automation integration experience
- AWS or Azure platform exposure
- Experience building platform standards, templates, and self-service onboarding capabilities
