Assist with the maintenance and application of the Devex™ Delivery System by supporting the Service Technician in daily inspections, monitoring equipment status, reporting Devex™ emulsion levels underground, and performing minor repairs when required.
Provide technical support on explosives products to mining personnel through on-the-job training in charging and connecting Enaex explosive products, and by offering guidance on the safe use of related equipment and materials.
Support machinery and equipment maintenance by acting as the first responder to breakdowns, identifying root causes, performing permitted repairs, adhering to correct repair procedures, and submitting detailed breakdown and maintenance reports.
Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards and risks, conducting pre-task risk assessments, reporting spillages, performing density checks, maintaining records, following up on management recommendations, and submitting monthly or ad hoc reports on site conditions.
Assist in the safe handling and application of explosives by evaluating product application processes, ensuring compliance with training guidelines, handling, storing, and transporting products safely, and conducting blast surveys in line with designed criteria when required.
Comply with operational processes by keeping knowledge up to date, applying correct procedures, and addressing concerns as they arise.
Implement SHE practices by understanding required actions, executing them effectively, and reviewing outcomes within deadlines or as specified by procedures
Maintain effective stakeholder relationships by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, exchanging feedback, and collaborating as needed.
Contribute to team success by participating in team activities, identifying support needs, helping and actively engaging with team members daily.
Maintain dual Learning Management Systems (LMS) by updating training catalogs, ensuring content accuracy, applying document version control and naming conventions, and verifying compliance with training standards, taking corrective actions where needed.
Support the coordination of the learning framework by sourcing inputs, integrating business and individual needs, and maintaining a consistent, structured, and on-brand training approach.
Implement statutory training requirements by embedding compliance into processes, tracking participation, and preparing monthly regulatory reports.
Assist in developing and executing onboarding and orientation programs by preparing materials, coordinating activities across departments, and supporting seamless monthly delivery.
Enhance engagement in training programs by contributing creative, interactive, and technology-enabled learning methods that improve learner participation.
Manage training administration by handling inquiries, arranging logistics (venues, equipment, catering, invitations), monitoring attendance, following up on participation, and gathering feedback from learners and providers.
Contribute to vendor management by drafting inputs for training-related contracts, reviewing agreements for alignment with needs, ensuring compliance, and escalating issues when required.
Report on group training objectives by collecting and analysing training data, compiling reports, and submitting results to the line manager monthly.
Provide training support to employees by serving as the point of contact for professional qualifications, responding to queries, and offering guidance throughout their learning journey.
Track and report training expenditure by monitoring costs, maintaining financial records, and submitting monthly spending reports for review and approval.
Comply with policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, attending training, and resolving queries daily and as required.

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
B Tech or National Diploma in HRD / Training and Development field or similar
Assessor Certificate
3+ year in training administration
Driver’s license will be advantageous
