    Cashbook Clerk - JHB

    Description

    • Responsible for daily cash management;
    • Update daily bank balances for all accounts;
    • Process local, foreign and ad-hoc payments/receipts;
    • Issue, process and reconcile petty cash and foreign floats;
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close off procedures;
    • Timeous and accurate monthly reporting;
    • Maintain and reconcile cashbooks to the bank statements (daily bank reconciliations, following up and clearing of reconciling items);
    • Maintain and reconcile credit card accounts; - Administer and control the loading of new beneficiary profiles;
    • Perform ad-hoc assignments as instructed; Filing/General Administration;
    • Provide auditors with information required for yearend audit.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12;
    • A Diploma in Finance (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 3 years cashbook/petty cash experience (Essential);
    • Must have experience working with multiple currencies;
    • Experience in an accounting software package (Advantageous);
    • Must be able to work with physical cash and multiple boxes;
    • Knowledge of cash management within an Organisation;
    • Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable;
    • Proficient in Excel (Essential);
    • Excellent communication and time management skills;
    • Must be able to plan, prioritise and organize;
    • Attention to detail;
    • Ability to work under pressure;
    • Deadline driven;
    • Must have sound technical skills (balance/reconcile physical cash in a petty cash box to the system, be able to work with/count cash).

    Customer Service Agent (ELS)

    Description

    • Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings and flight changes including explaining rules, terms and conditions, regulations and procedures as and when required;
    • Assist customers when there are flight disruptions and/or cancellations;

    Customer Service Supervisor (JHB)

    Description

    • Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings and flight changes;
    • Handle issues such as delays, cancellations, and other operational challenges;
    • Explain processes to customers and provide assistance where necessary;
    • Supervise Ticket Sales staff;
    • Supervise ticket sales representatives, including their training, coaching, and performance evaluation;
    • Ensure that all ticket sales representatives adhere to FlySafair policies and procedures, including pricing, ticketing, and refund policies;
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to ticket sales;
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ticket sales department, including managing staff, scheduling and shifts;
    • Ensure that all ticket sales are handled efficiently and accurately without any errors or discrepancies;
    • Liaise with customers and maintain a visible, accessible presence for both staff and passengers at all times.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Travel Degree or Diploma (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in an Airline/Aviation environment (Passenger Services and/or Ramp Services and/or Baggage Handling);

    Line Warehouse Controller (CPT)

    Description

    • Responsible for spares movements between the relevant base and other stations;
    • Ensure that all data is promptly entered into the stock management system (ERP) to maintain accurate information at all times;
    • To comply with Work Instructions, ensure parts are sorted into their designated areas immediately upon receipt;
    • Conduct weekly cycle counts as well as other random counts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained;
    • Keep accurate records and file all relevant documentation pertaining to spare parts movements;
    • Create documentation for shipping purposes (COMAT) as well as packaging as per general practise or as required by Work Instructions;
    • Responsible for tools and other equipment in the station;
    • Responsible to manage shelf-life items for tools, consumables and rotables as prescribed by Work Instructions;
    • Responsible for loading of required spares on the requisition system;
    • Update the ERP system once spares are received to improve visibility throughout our ERP system;
    • Daily housekeeping must be performed, and a high standard maintained;
    • Ensure unserviceable spares are routed to JHB to minimise turnaround time and decrease repair cycle;
    • Manage stock levels for both consumables and rotables;
    • Address all requests for spares received through the requisition system, email, phone calls, or WhatsApp;
    • Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by the Supervisor;
    • Ensure that access to the warehouse is controlled at all times;
    • Daily reporting will be conducted after each shift, with ad-hoc reporting as needed;
    • Assist with loading and offloading of spares on the aircrafts;
    • Assist with all queries on spares in the station;
    • Following up on quarantine spares.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Forklift license (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 2-3 years in Warehouse (Essential);
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
    • Good understanding of stock management;
    • FIFO understanding;
    • Must have Tool knowledge;
    • Good understanding of operations;
    • Good understanding of Occupational health, safety (OHS);
    • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations;
    • Knowledge of Relevant AMO standards;
    • Must have a valid driver’s license (EB);
    • Must be able to drive with trailer (Long)
    • Must be willing to work shifts and overtime when required;
    • Willing to travel;

    • Assist in managing and allocating the digital marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI;
    • Monitor expenditures and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget constraints.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. (Essential);
    • 3 years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on experience managing campaigns and budgets;
    • Willingness to work longer than normal office hours;
    • Knowledge of MS Office Suite;
