• Accurately and efficiently ring up all products that the customer is purchasing and ensure the correct amount of change is given

• Maintain a clean and hygienic till area
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide each customer with exceptional and friendly customer service
• Maintain solid knowledge of products on sale as well as product codes
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Maintain strong communication and time management skills
• Work efficiently, especially during busy periods.

What you'll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Count and determine stock to be merchandised and document
• Unpack stock and document what has been received
• Organise and display products to attract customers and make sure all lines are on display
• Keep accurate records of all stock used and continuously monitor stock levels
• Change displays to match what we have or promote
• Stick to display rules and plans
• Use creative ideas to grab customers' attention
• Create special displays for different seasons or promotions
• Check quality of products and report any damages
• Fill shelves and keep track of what's in stock
• Make sure old or bad products are removed and new ones are stacked and displayed
• Plan what products to have and how many
• Work with various teams, including the marketing and sales teams
• Use colours, lights, props, and decorations to make displays look better
• Create plans for how the store looks and design signs and ads
• Keep area clean, tidy and uncluttered including store room
• Advise customers on the use of products and provide feedback on all complaints, queries and requests

What you'll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

• Moving of stock from receiving to Inventory
• Do put-away - transferring and allocating receiving inventory into the warehouse allocation in an accurate and timely manner.
• Replenish stock to the picking area.
• Assist pickers with Bulk picking by delivering correct items and quantities of goods from Inventory to the checking bay.
• Assist Inventory team with stocktaking.
• Complete daily Reach Truck checklist before operating the machines.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any damages.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
• Maintain compliance to all health & safety standards.
• Handle heavy lifting, moving products as needed.
• Build and maintain product knowledge to assist with accurate picking and packing
• Operate a scanner to track and record inventory movements.
• Work efficiently, especially during peak periods.

What you'll do

• Being able to follow a production schedule with all products stocked by the bakery. Having energy to produce products from an early hour.
• Take accurate stock take on a weekly basis.
• Tell the bakery manager when an ingredient is almost out of stock and order from the correct supplier
• Assist in the preparation of various baked goods
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
