    Admin Associate- Mbombela

    Job Description

    • The ideal candidate will manage daily administrative tasks, handle customer queries, process purchases, refunds, and credits, and assist with efficient stockroom operations. The role ensures accurate documentation, smooth transactions, and supports showroom performance to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

    What you will love doing in this role

    • Enhance customer interactions by creating a positive and engaging customer service experience that builds lasting relationships and meets customer needs.
    • Provide in-depth process knowledge, ensuring customers receive accurate information and guidance.
    • Guide the customer journey, including account opening, order processing, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
    • Perform daily stock management duties to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure smooth store operations.
    • Monitor catalogue stock levels, ensuring inventory is accurate and aligned with the latest product offerings.
    • Manage goods returns efficiently while keeping store processes and documentation up to date.
    • Manage day-to-day administration, documentation, and reporting, ensuring operational goals are tracked effectively.
    • Oversee store visual merchandising and maintain excellent housekeeping standards, ensuring the store is aesthetically pleasing, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
    • Maintain general housekeeping standards throughout the store, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment for both customers and staff.
    • On an adhoc basis there will be a requirement to assist with sales-related tasks, including but not limited to in-store selling and supporting activations in the surrounding areas.

    What you’ll need to do this role

    • Grade 12/Matric/NQFL 3/ NQFL 4
    • 1 year + retail stores experience
    • 1 year + administration experience
    • Must not be currently debarred or declared not fit and proper in terms of the FAIS Act

    Warehouse Operator

    Job Description

    • To facilitate operations through the accurate and timely execution of tasks within the warehouse environment as assigned to you by your relevant supervisor / team leader.

    What you will love doing in this role

    Receiving

    • Offloading inbound deliveries and palletising stock
    • Counting, verifying and labelling inbound goods
    • Wrapping pallets and preparing stock for movement
    • Moving palletised stock from receiving bays to staging areas

    Inventory Management

    • Executing tasks accurately using warehouse scanners and systems
    • Performing stock movements and bin-to-bin transfers
    • Stock consolidation and replenishment tasks
    • Conducting cycle counts and RBTs to ensure stock accuracy

    Picking

    • Accurate picking of internal and customer orders
    • Ensuring products are picked in line with operational standards
    • Decanting stock back into original picking bins when required

    Conveyor Operations

    • Working on conveyor systems and related machinery
    • Supporting departmental KPIs to ensure efficient order processing

    Packing

    • Packing internal and customer orders accurately and efficiently
    • Meeting packing targets while ensuring product quality

    Distribution

    • Loading and offloading stock and customer orders
    • Scanning goods to ensure accurate movement and dispatch

    Ad Hoc Operational Support

    Assisting with general DC activities including:

    • Building and breaking combos
    • Labelling
    • Pallet repairs
    • Cleaning and general operational support tasks

    Housekeeping & Equipment Care

    • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
    • Reporting faulty equipment and ensuring tools are properly maintained
    • Completing daily equipment check sheets and submitting them to your Supervisor

    Health & Safety

    • Complying with all Occupational Health & Safety regulations and DC safety protocols

    What you’ll need to do this role

    • Grade 12 / Matric / NQF 4 (minimum requirement)
    • 2–5 years’ warehouse or distribution centre experience
    • Understanding of stock control and loss prevention principles
    • Valid unendorsed driver’s license
    • Medically fit to perform the physical requirements of a DC environment
    • Reliable transport to and from the Blackheath Distribution Centre
    • Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
    • Clear criminal and credit record
