    Capital Project Engineer

    • You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.

    • To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

    Sales Revenue Planner, Chocolate & Beverages, RoA

    • This role is responsible for the governance (tracking and assessment to contract) of the overall category commercial plan, working on the IBP process and customer JBP timelines. Helps lead the cross-functional alignment with the Sales and Category, Marketing, Finance, Demand planning & CS&L teams to ensure the Marketing and Shopper plans deliver against budgets and resource allocation (both internal and external).

    How you will contribute

    You will:

    • Work with the category team to determine optimal portfolio assortment and high revenues activities
    • Support with the formulation of customer plans and subsequent monitoring
    • Coordinate and manage the commercial set-up of sales activation
    • Provide customer, channel and trade expertise and recommendations in the launch of new products
    • Validate Launch Support Fees and track performance and complete reconciliation as required
    • Prepare customer solutions (e.g. Tailor-made activations, events) in a co-operation with the Customer Activation team
    • Evaluate the execution of activities vs the plan - drivers, implementation of learning into further activations

    Job specific requirements:

    • Category commercial plan (6 months & below) for the respective category across all ROA markets
    • Manage Category promotional strategy across channels/ customers and communication to stakeholders\.
    • Support the preparation of NPD and Marketing Activities selling story to ensure implementation of launch and activities. 
    • Analyze, evaluate and communicate the category performance across channels and customers 
    • Assesses delivery of the category Gross to Nett (Trade Spend) target versus contract and manage consolidation of the category forecast across channels and customers 
    • Responsible for category forecasting by channels and customer and manage the sales input (bottom up forecast) to the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle. 
    • Coordinate in-store category/brand advertising with the relevant stakeholders across sales and marketing to ensure excellence and consistency in execution output. 
    • Actively launch/activate/track implementation and performance on new product launches, activations and promotions, also conducting post evaluations to be shared with the commercial organization. 
    • Manage category portfolio operational issues (e.g. SKUs code change, transition for code change) to ensure no disruption in day to day operation across channels and customers. 
    • Plan and execute point of purchase (POP) 5Ps tactics that underpin the delivery of AC targets & reflect the category strategy.  
    • Compile Sales Activation Master Plans (SAMP) that include POS material and visibility plan based on 5P Picture of Success for the category and markets
    • Create and Manage POB and POS deployment for respective categories across ROA markets.
    • Support and Input in Annual planning process.
    • Review and Drive the MSL for the respective categories across all markets and channels.
    • Complete and publish certain ROA dashboards and reports which is across all categories.
    • Ensure that certain Sales Incentive Programs are kept visible during the year.

    Education / Certifications:

    • A relevant Commercial Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification is required
    • 3-5 years experience in FMCG with experience in Sales/Trade Marketing and/or Insights
    • 3-5 years’ experience in Shopper/Trade Marketing Activation strategies
    • Experience in developing business reporting and KPI dashboards for a full picture of channel, customer and consumer performance
    • Well versed in the use of Nielsen/IRI and retailer specific systems would be an added advantage
    • Understand promotional tactics, execution and fulfilment processes

    FP&A Senior Analyst

    • You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

    What you need to know about this position:

    You will:

    • Work across functions & markets to collate inputs and prepare the value chain (P&L) required for NPDs (New Product Development) within deadlines 
    • Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
    • Manage month end reporting of performance versus rolling forecast, plan and prior year, with focus on marketing and gross to net spend (discounts & allowances). Prepare journal entries related to trade funds.
    • Prepare monthly cash flow analysis report and submit commentary on balance sheet accounts
    • Help the Finance lead and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that facilitate business strategy changes and decisions
    • Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and digitalization
    • Collate information from the BU to build and analyze the Rolling Forecast by market and category
    • Champion Digital Marketing dashboard, SAP analytics cloud and Power BI to share financial data and insights for decision making
    • Drive the 9-box exercise, analyzing the absolute Net Revenue generated per SKU and its profitability to ensure a focused portfolio
    • Business partner to deliver the SKU rationalization exercise for RoA
    • Support marketing with financial analyses and budget tracking
    • Review GTN claims from distributors and ensure all supporting documentation is received before submitting them for processing and adding them to the tracker
    • Create the trade agreements in SAP
    • Compute duties on royalties in Kenya and submit approved calculation to Kenya Revenue Authority
    • Influence and perform financial modelling for impact of currency devaluation and pricing required to cover inflation and commodity impacts
    • Support master data team with loading of new prices for products and hierarchy management
    • Support the business in complying with regulatory & environmental requirements and updating the value chains to reflect any changes
    • Support the RoA (Rest of Africa) GM and BU FD as required
    • Support with audits
