Job Description

• We are looking for is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor with a National Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying. Applicants should have appropriate experience, across a range of projects, with a medium to large construction company. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Drafting monthly payment certificates, including variations and claims
• Compiling monthly cost reports, cash flows and budgets
• Ensuring the correct contractual procedures are followed Performing risk and value management and cost control
• Advising on procurement strategy Monitors adherence to company procedures
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills and quantities Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations Subcontractor management
• Financial reporting, cost forecasting and cash management experience
• Experience preparing, evaluating and negotiating variations, extension of time claims and contractual entitlements.
• Proven ability to allocate work, review outputs and coach team members to improve performance.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum years' experience in Construction/ Engineering environment, working in medium to large construction projects 
• Experience in CCS essential 
• Sound knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, JBCC and/or NEC Contracts 
• Driver's license plus own vehicle will be advantageous

• This position is responsible for the implementation and management of BIM platforms throughout the region. Managing the BIM platform project folders for various projects. Responsible for creating BIM execution plans for various projects/ clients (if client specific). Standardisation of StefStocks BIM standards (title blocks, templates etc.) and Revit families. Responsible for coordination of the BIM model between various consultants and stakeholders. Managing and checking the quality of deliverables, specifically models and 2D drawings. Managingthe implementation of live 3D modelling acrossall projects from project commencement through to as built information handover to end user/client. Leading the company digital progression by means of researching and implementing of new digital tools. Upskilling staff on digital tools and provide training on digital tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma/Certificate in Revit or 3D digital design or equivalent qualification in digital discipline
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in construction building or civil works field
• Experience in Navisworks / similar Coordination software and 3D Modelling (Revit)
• Experience in the utilisation of BIM360/ ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of Architectural, Structural and MEP 3D Modelling
• Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures
• Knowledge of Construction Standards related to Quality Management
• Knowledge and understanding of Coordinate systems in BIM
• Experience in creating and interpreting technical engineering drawings
• Ability to distribute and co-ordinate information as well as manage cloud-based construction management platform such as BIM 360, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) or Procore.
• Advanced Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook &PowerPoint)
• Highly computer literate in Revit, Navisworks/similar construction software.
• Strong communication abilities to be able to distribute and co-ordinate information via online BIM platforms
• Able to do 3D modelling of building, civil and MEP elements. High quality drawing skills

• The company has an ongoing requirement for experienced Pile Rig Operators to safely and efficiently operate a diverse fleet of piling rigs used in the installation of a variety of deep foundation pile systems.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of Casagrande piling rigs (B125, B170, B180, and B250) and Bauer piling rigs (BG28 and MG48). The role involves installing deep foundation piles, including Continuous Flight Auger (CFA), ACIS, and Percussion/Down-the-Hole (DTH) piles, in strict accordance with project specifications, engineering requirements, and company safety standards.
