Purpose of Position:

• To supply a fast and professional switchboard service to clients to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Certificate: Office Administration, Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Call Centre experience,
• Experience in a medical environment,
• Knowledge: Google and Google Mail,
• Knowledge: Meditech system,
• Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the effective operation of the call centre management system to ensure continuous workflow,
• Operate the switchboard in order to correctly refer client queries,
• Perform switchboard administrative tasks to ensure updated contact and duty information

Purpose of Position:

• To collect and deliver reports; specimens and parcels sufficiently and timeously to and from the wards, hospitals, Dr’ rooms, factories and relevant clients by means of a vehicle.

Requirements:

• Grade 10, Valid South African Drivers Licence (Code A), Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

Required Experience:

• Driving Experience,
• Knowledge: Basic Vehicle Maintenance,
• Knowledge: National Traffic Rules and Regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and deliver reports, specimens and parcels in order to ensure that clients and labs received them timeously,
• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath at all times,
• Maintain safekeeping and maintenance of company vehicles and relevant equipment in order to remain contactable and deliver excellent service

Purpose of Position:

• To perform routine and stat analyses of samples and maintain analysers / instruments in an histology laboratory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Health Sciences Medical Laboratory Science: Medical Technology (Required),
• HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field: Medical Technology (Required)

Required Experience:

• 1 year working experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a clinical laboratory environment,
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point),
• Experience in pathology laboratory environment,
• Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies,
• Knowledge: Meditech system,
• Knowledge: Quality Control, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath.,
• Perform administration tasks in order to ensure effective administration systems in the laboratory.,
• Perform QC procedures in the laboratory in order to ensure best practices are upheld.,
• Process routine bench work in laboratory in order to ensure efficient processing of specimens.,
• Provide technical support within laboratory in order to ensure the efficient flow of specimens and timeous resulting of specimen.,
• Train laboratory staff in order to ensure continuous development and education.

• To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession in a phlebotomy environment.

Requirements:

• Certificate: Nursing, SANC Registration in Relevant Register,
• Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB)

Required Experience:

• Knowledge: Meditech system,
• Knowledge: MS Excel,
• Knowledge: MS Word,
• Knowledge: National Health Act,
• Knowledge: Nursing Council Scope of Practice,
• Nursing experience within a hospital and/or laboratory environment,
• Phlebotomy experience in a laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information,
