    Head of Finance

    • Are you an experienced Chartered Accountant with a sharp strategic mindset?
    • This is your chance to take the reins of financial strategy and operations, working side by side with executive leadership to drive performance, strengthen controls, streamline processes, and fuel sustainable growth.

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Chartered Accountant (CA).
    • 5–10 years post-articles experience.
    • Proven experience in implementation and financial systems integration.
    • Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic financial management skills

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    Business Accounting & Financial Management:

    • Oversee strategic and business financial planning, including forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Manage financial reporting, including preparation of accurate financial statements, management accounts, and monthly management statements.
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational sustainability.
    • Implement and maintain internal accounting procedures, financial controls, and best practices.
    • Assist management with operational decision-making and cross-functional corporate responsibilities.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.

    Taxation & Compliance:

    • Prepare and submit income tax, provisional tax, VAT, and other statutory returns.
    • Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
    • Oversee audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and owners.

    Project & Trust Accounting:

    • Conduct project costings, feasibility analysis, and maintain project guarantee calculators and pre-sales schedules.
    • Manage trust accounting, including capturing receipts, trust journals, payments, and client investments across various platforms.
    • Perform monthly trust bank reconciliations and prepare trust audit documentation.
    • Ensure invoices, payments, and guarantees are accurately aligned.

    Budgeting & Cost Management:

    • Prepare and manage monthly and annual budgets.
    • Monitor expenses and implement cost control strategies to optimize profitability.

    Process Optimization & System Implementation:

    • Implement and improve financial systems, reporting processes, and automation tools.
    • Ensure smooth integration of accounting software with management systems.
    • Optimize financial workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.

    Financial Planning & Strategy:

    • Provide strategic input on profitability, revenue growth, and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis to support business decisions.

    Team Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
    • Provide financial management support across IGrow Private Wealth/IGrow Wealth Management and other businesses under the IGrow Group as required.
    • Provide financial assistance and support within the IGrow Home Loans division, including processing, reviewing, and managing finance-related matters. Additionally, assist with any financial, administrative and operational requests as delegated by the CEO.

    Regional Manager (JHB)

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • NQF4 Real Estate qualification. (essential)
    • 5+ years’ proven experience in Residential Property Management.
    • Experience managing a large team and overseeing a large portfolio (5,000+ units).
    • Strong operations management and team leadership skills.
    • Solid knowledge of residential property rentals and related compliance.
    • Proficiency in financial oversight and maintenance coordination.
    • Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
    • WeConnectU system experience.
    • Hands-on maintenance management experience.
    • Knowledge of sectional title schemes.
    • Strong background in marketing and new development launches.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Onboarding/training of new starters.
    • Reviews with new starters during the probation period along with Team Leader.
    • Attend strategist review meetings where complaints have been received.
    • Monthly agent KPI’s.
    • Attend all new development launches and meetings.
    • Ensure agents send weekly investor feedback on all developments with vacant units.
    • Attend all morning agent meetings.
    • Run Gauteng marketing meetings.
    • Check all agents monthly commission sheets when received by FM.
    • Check all agents bi-weekly claim sheets and submit to FM.
    • Ensure agents are doing enough viewings at developments and enough marketing is being done.
    • Ensure the agents send through there bi-weekly viewing schedules to their allocated CCR.
    • Agents/staff to report their whereabouts to you.
    • Ensure agents inform landlords of approved applicant with breakdown of lease period, rental application information and TPN report for their perusal.
    • Ensure agents have arranged their month end inspections with clients 1 week in advance.
    • Ensure agents are doing pre-exits and are advising maintenance timeously of repairs that need to be done before the end of the month.
    • Liaise with Real Estate division regarding units that they will be marketing.
    • Liaise with Jiveka as to when “new” developments will be available, how water/electricity/gate access/security works and let the agents know.
    • Rental and area research on all new projects along with acquisitions team.
    • Advising on the Managing agents on new projects, advise on Fibre, water , electricity, security etc.
    • Allocate rental agents to developments along with the area Team Leader - Always take into account area (can females work there etc) and also how far is the allocated development from where the agent lives.
    • Give final approval on more complex rental applications.
    • General assistance to National Rentals manager when required.
    • Monthly reporting to Exco.
    • Overall responsibility/accountability for the Gauteng Region.
