    Procurement Officer

    Job Description

    • To support the Procurement Department in executing procurement-related tasks, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth operational processes. 

    Job Requirements
    Key Responsibilities

    Financial & Data Management

    • Capture and maintain the department’s income and distribution matrix (MTD & YTD financials, COI, infractions, complaints).
    • Reconcile monthly credit card expenses and submit to the finance department.

    Administrative Support

    • Handle correspondence, schedule meetings, and manage incoming calls.
    • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure documentation is up to date.
    • Assist with general administrative tasks as required by the line manager.

    Travel Coordination

    • Arrange local and international travel bookings (flights, accommodation, car hire).
    • Manage foreign exchange requirements.

    Supplier & Vendor Management

    • Update and maintain supplier files and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with vendor management system requirements.

    Content & Communication

    • Submit weekly Extranet articles for the Procurement team.
    • Keep the team informed of important updates, especially during travel periods.

    Project Support

    • Assist with ad hoc procurement projects to ensure departmental efficiency.
    • Take ownership of specific procurement-related initiatives (e.g., Cayuga bookings and stock control).

    General Duties

    • Carry out reasonable requests from management.
    • Support company functions and events as needed.
    • Maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.

    Strategic Projects:

    • Intelligent Insight Access: Design and deploy a solution that makes insights instantly accessible, turning complex datasets and reports into concise, actionable answers for decision-makers.
    • Menu & Pricing Intelligence: Identify high- and low-performing menu items based on sales, frequency, customer feedback, and promotional response. Engineer dashboards and analytical models that reveal which menu items drive repeat visits and profitability. Apply statistical rigor to pricing and promotion strategies to safeguard margin and enhance customer value
    • Customer Voice Dashboard: Consolidate fragmented feedback streams surveys, call centre, online and social media reviews into a unified view that pinpoints friction points to inform customer experience design.

    Your Profile

    • Final-year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Strong foundation in data modelling, statistical analysis, and visualization.

    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for performance optimization.
