Purpose of the Job

To store and maintain all records (paper and electronic) according to storage standards and legal requirements and present them to authorised users, within agreed timeframes including protecting all physical records against unauthorised access, removal, destruction and environmental damage to enable the business to meet it's targets in a cost effective and sustainable manner

What you'll be doing

• Proactively performing a records custodian role.
• Building effective records access control systems.
• Administering the contract management system.
• Maintaining a disposal program and ensuring adherence.
• Managing query resolution effectively and timeously.

• Drive the maintenance of a records classification system for good governance and quality management. 
• Create value through cross functional interaction with stakeholders.
• Operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.

What you've done before

Baseline:

• NQF Level 4 (National/Higher Certificate)
• At least 2 years’ experience in Administration or Document Management
• Diploma or Advance Certificate

Advantageous:

• Exceptional records management system skills and archive administration.
• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.
• Ability to work cross functionally.

Purpose of the Job

To evaluate the quality of data based on data standards, data quality principles and business requirements to ensure data is fit for purpose and conforms to data governance, policies and standards as set by data management framework and Engen’s data integrity drive.

What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• NQF level 7 (Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, computer engineer, data engineer)
• 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, IT technical role
• 5 years SAP related experience directly linked to Master Data Management, SAP reports and queries, 
• Experience with SAP Data Services and or SQL Databases.
• Experience working with SAP Information Steward
• Extensive experience with a coding language preferably SQL and Information Steward scripting language
• Experience with modelling ERDs, dataflows and data lineages
• Ability to conduct training and prepare training material

Advantageous:

• CDMP certification Preferred
• Experience working with Senior Management and stakeholders at various levels.  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity

What you’ll be doing:

• Proactively managing data quality scorecards and reporting on exceptions
• Building relationships with internal customers to enable ownership & self-help mindset 
• Promoting and operationalizing data standards and processes
• Developing enterprise data models and data flows to ensure data relationships are understood 
• Creating more user reports & dashboards for decision making  
• You’ll be collaborating with implementation teams for systems & integration solutions  
• Soliciting data quality requirements from business stakeholders for data quality management
• Providing training Internal training on SQL and coding practices 
• Providing stakeholder training on data quality and information steward
