    Forklift Driver- Shipping - Gqeberha

    Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the Shipping floor.

    We need:

    • Matric
    • 3 years’ experience in the wool store
    • Forklift license (valid)
    • Must be able to work in a team.
    • Must take responsibility for own work output.
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Writing and arithmetic skills
    • Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
    • Must be able to perform under pressure.
    • Must be willing to work long hours during peak season.

    KEY FUNCTIONS:

    • Loading of containers.
    • Loading and off- loading of bales (inside-outside).
    • Moving of bales between the stack and loading area
    • Record all incomplete reference numbers and report to the line manager.
    • Perform daily Hyster checks.
    • Report any new noises to line manager.
    • Always maintain a safe speed while ensuring productivity on the Shipping floor
    • All lawful work instructions must be performed as instructed by a superior.
    • Adhoc duties as required by the line manager

    Forklift Driver- HD Press

    Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the HD press floor to the stowage area.

    KEY FUNCTIONS:

    • Removal of bales from HD to the stowage.
    • Relocate all torn/ripped bales to the repress holding area.
    • Must be able to work under pressure when floor is at full capacity.
    • Record all incomplete reference numbers and report to the line manager.
    • Perform daily hyster checks.
    • Report any new noises to line manager.
    • Always maintain a safe speed while ensuring productivity on the Shipping/HD floor
    • All lawful work instructions must be perform as instructed by a superior.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Auction admin and accounting:

    • Assist with auction clerk responsibilities
    • Reconcile buyer and seller quantities and correlate to auction roll
    • Compare with auction summary and do a reconciliation of the auction
    • Finalisation of auction to be imported in server and Syspro

    Administrative responsibilities:

    • Ensure that auction invoices reach sellers as soon as possible
    • Handle all enquiries form sellers, buyers, clients and personnel pertaining to the auction

    Expense function:

    • Gather all invoices of business area before submitting for purchase orders.
    • Follow up on payments to suppliers
    • Handle all queries from suppliers in terms of statements, invoices and payments

    Training:

    • Responsible for the training of auction clerks
    • Regular training of any updates or changes
    • Keep abreast with changes on Auction systems 

    Accounts receivable management:

    • Ensure that clients settle their accounts within the agreed terms
    • Follow up on account receivables and provide weekly updates to the line manager

    BMS/RFID Marker - Gqeberha

    Responsible for using a handheld scanner to track items as they leave or enter the warehouse. To ensure that the inventory base is accurate and up to date as possible.

    We need:

    • Grade 12
    • Basic Knowledge of warehouse functioning.
    • Writing and arithmetic skills.
    • Precision and accuracy.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Be able to operate a tablet.

    KEY FUNCTIONS:

    Marking/tagging of bales:

    • Received tags from supervisor
    • Tagged the bales that were identified for posting.
    • Scan the tagg on with the Handheld.
    • Assign the tagg information on the bale information on Handheld. 
    • If any irregularly – a ticket must be logged to IT.
    • Report this immediately to supervisor

    Scanning of bales:

    • Ensure that the conveyer is ready for production to continue.
    • Capture the bales using the scanner- Quickly and accurately.
    • If any errors are identified by the computer system, clear the error and start the production line again.
    • Scanning the physical records (Bales) into the Tallman system, pressing the right buttons to initiate and complete the scan.
    • After the bale has been captured via the scanner for the Tallman system.
    • Only scan in the bales, which has been requested by the supervisor, for the binning and blending department.

    Reassigning tags:

    • When bales arrive in receiving department without a tag, assign a new tag to the bale.
    • Ensure that the correct information is assigned to the bale.

    Report irregularities:

    • Ability to operate a BMS/RFID scanner.
    • Report any problems while scanning the barcode into Tallman system to the supervisor.

    Quality Control:

    • Compliance with applicable ISO standards
    • Ensure that all the machinery in the Wool store is repaired and kept in a working condition.

    Ad Hoc:

    • Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant (BKB)
    • Assist and follow any and verbal instructions that is being given by management/supervisor.

    Health and safety:

    • Always maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Report any safety hazards in the working environment to your supervisor/management.
    • Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

    ICT Desktop Support Engineer - Ermelo

    The successful candidate will be responsible for various IT duties, e.g. helpdesk administration, asset administration, installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems. Configuring hardware and software, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users and any other general duties as required by the IT Operation Manager. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.
