    Minimum requirements 

    • An NQF Level 9 Master’s Degree in Architecture (i.e., M. Arch).
    • Minimum 2 years of Architectural Practice Experience.
    • Eligibility to register as a Professional Architect with SACAP.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Doctoral Degree or equivalent NQF level 10 qualification in Engineering, with an undergraduate qualification in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
    • At least 10 years of teaching/professional experience.
    • Evidence of a scholarly track record in the form of peer-reviewed publications, with at least 10 DHET-accredited publications in the past 3 years. Preferably in Q1 and Q2 journals.
    • Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision at Master's and Doctorate levels.
    • Evidence of sustained external funding.
    • An NRF C rating would be preferable.

     Minimum requirements

    • A relevant Master’s degree (Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or Built Environment) and MUST be ready to pursue a Doctoral qualification within the time permitted.

     Additional recommendations

    • Candidates with specialization in the area of Cadastral and Engineering surveying and associated technical skills, e.g., CAD (Computer-aided design), GIS (Geographic information systems), Remote sensing, Drones/UAVs, etc., will be given preference.
