    Artisan Millwright

    Main Objectives:

    • Safety Management: Adhere to all site PPE, safety requirements, safe operating procedures and work instructions. Attend safety training, safety meetings, inductions, medical examinations, and safety talks.  Adhere to Lock out and permit procedures.
    • Maintenance support: Perform planned maintenance on all Premier Mills Fawema`s. Complete all planned preventative maintenance work orders. Perform overtime duties when required. Prepared to assist with projects. Provide mentorship training assistance for apprentices.
    • Maintenance management: Maintain availability of wheat Fawema Packaging machines. Execute tasks according to standards (no rework/comebacks). Control job execution times (actual vs. estimate). Provide mentorship training assistance for apprentice and site artisans. 
    • Administration and Housekeeping: Capturing feedback and time on all completed work orders and completion of necessary inspection of reports. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area through regular housekeeping activities. All machines and tools must be maintained in a clean and operational condition. Adherence to timekeeping is essential.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Matric
    • Relevant Trade qualification
    • Registered Artisan (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal)

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum - 5-7 Years in relevant trade – Electrician, Fitter, Millwright
    • Minimum – 5-7 Years experience on Fawema Packaging Machines.

    Job Description

    • This position will be reporting to the Dispatch Manager, with the responsibility of loading and offload bread on site. This is a 6-day position and if you meet the below requirements, then we are looking for you.
    • Offload and loading bread according to offloads/ loading SOP
    • Follow pipeline loading/offloading sequence
    • Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck
    • Attend daily invocoms
    • Ensure that quality bread is loaded / offloaded
    • Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
    • Report back on loading /offloading related matters to offloads supervisors
    • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures

    Qualification Requirements

    • Grade 12 with numerical skills
    • Licence Code 10 will be advantageous

    • At least 3 months’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry
