    Principal Application Developer - Funds (Investran)

    Discover the role

    Principal Application Developer – Funds will lead a team of analysts/SMEs supporting Investran and developing other systems used by TMF’s Global Funds business. The team growing with our clients, and it is responsible for delivering support to 200+ TMF users in conformance to agreed internal SLAs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Experience with Private Equity systems (Investran, Allvue, eFront), and industry-leading Real Asset systems (Yardi) is preferable, but not essential;
    • Experience with Credit servicing and portfolio management tools such as WSO, Black Mountain, Loan IQ;
    • Data Integration tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Mulesoft and the development of integrations between the above-mentioned applications;
    • Understanding of fund accounting and administration;
    • Client / Fund onboarding and data migrations;
    • Investor Reporting and portal administration;
    • Report Writing tools such as SSRS, Business Objects / Crystal Reports, Tableau, PowerBI;
    • SQL Server, TSQL, and database design;
    • Web application development utilising Classic .net / asp.net /
    • Visual Basic (v6.0), ASP.NET (1.1, 2.0, 3.5,4.0,4.5), VB.NET, C#, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, Web Services, RESTful Services, WCF, COM, VBA, MVC (v3, v4, v5), INFOPATH;
    • Classic ASP (v3.0), JavaScript, VB Script, XML, XSLT, JQuery, Razor, KnockOut, AngularJS, MDX, JSON;
    • Understanding of infosec and cybersecurity risks and challenges;
    • Experience in formal change management, including requirements elicitation, specification documentation, project coordination & planning 
    • Expertise in System design and development required for business processes.
    • Having a thorough understanding of how IT interfaces with multiple functional groups within an organization.
    • Ability to construct process models including data dictionaries and estimates.
    • Able to test business applications from a business perspective to ensure that all client requirements are incorporated into the design.

    Key skills & requirements

    • 5+ years of experience - preferably an Investran accounting super user (not essential);
    • Fund and Investor Administration background, and an understanding of Investran’s Client Relationship Module and Reporting Services with experience of Investor portals (DX, eFront IC) beneficial;
    • Interest and experience in automation and dashboarding utilising technology such as Alteryx, Anaplan, and PowerBI would be highly desirable;
    • Driven to optimise the use of applications and technology to maximise operational efficiencies;
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

    Corporate & Institutional Services, Trainee Administrator

    The primary focus of the role will be:

    • Follow a tailored training program developed to meet the level of educational background and ensure the individual acquires the necessary skills to progress to a Client Administrator
    • Support the team in the day to day administration of their clients in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and in compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements
    • Process banking payments
    • Organise and prepare documents/files for couriers
    • Assist administrators in processing incoming and outgoing post
    • Data input and maintenance as required
    • Work flexibly with other administrative staff as required to ensure cover is available at all times
    • Meet productivity target and input timesheet daily
    • Provide general administrative support to the team, which may include printing, scanning, filing, binding of documents and photocopying
