    Delivery Manager

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Clover is currently recruiting a Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that there is efficient and cost-effective distribution of product in accordance with customer requirements . This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Atlas branch and the successful candidate will be reporting to the Delivery Services Manager.

    Requirements    

    • National Diploma  
    • Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level  
    • Experience in working with senior management 
    • Business English: Fluent 
    • Code 10 motor vehicle license 
    • Travel off-site/overnight stay 
    • Work shifts/weekends/public holidays

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Ensure effective deliveries and cost control  

    • Schedule deliveries according to nominated delivery days  
    • Manage and control departmental own fixed cost in terms of overtime, running cost and crates  
    • Manage site and area responsibility in terms of safety  
    • Ensure that deliveries are executed according to standard operating procedures  
    • Ensure vehicle inspections are conducted  

    Perform administrative duties  

    • Conduct daily debriefing of delivery team  
    • Maintain and manage driver ledger balances and deadlines  
    • Investigate rejected driver claims  
    • Maintain mixed temperature report  
    • Manage fuel usage on vehicle and reconcile fuel storage  

    Manage customer relations  

    • Conduct trade visits and submit reports  
    • Manage and control customer uplifts  
    • Attend to customer queries and complaints  
    • Liaison between Call Centre and Danone 

    Manage staff  

    • Set KPA's of team members and manage performance  
    • Maintain discipline of team (Execute company disciplinary procedures)  
    • Plan and manage leave  
    • Manage training and development of subordinates  
    • Manage driver violations as per Onboard Computer Report (OBC report)

    Clerk: Administrative

    Job Advert Summary    

    • The  Clerk: Administrator is required to provide support to the Admin Manager in term of day to day admin support and assist with branch hospitality as and when required.

    Requirements    

    • Grade 12.
    • Business English: Fluent.
    • Advanced Computer literacy.
    • Previous receptionist experience would be beneficial.

    • Must be able to multi task and work under pressure.
    • Effective Communication skills.
    • Interpersonal effectiveness.
    • Honest and trustworthy character.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Raising of orders for the Branch.
    • Receiving, Processing and Amending of Invoices.
    • Updating Purchase orders for Management Approval.
    • Printing approved orders - attaching to invoice and submitting for receipting.
    • Assisting with pragma (maintenance orders) - updating purchase order request and submitting into workflow for approval.
    • Requesting quotation from suppliers for stock/equipment.
    • Organising training for warehouse staff (Uthingo training - renewal of licenses / first time training - Novice).
    • Assisting branch with courier requests.
    • Assisting with travel booking (flights/car hire/accommodation).
    • Month End Provision (accounting for invoices that have not been processed within the month) - providing estimates for labour brokers.
    • Acting Allowances - month end.
    • TES Costings for labour brokers - Weekly.
