    In Season Designer Mr Price

    Responsibilities
    Strategy, Review & Postmortem

    • Produce CAD designs and review boards that guide the merchandising team in strategic and post-mortem reviews.
    • Compile and maintain updates of core booklets per brand

    Product development & Supplier briefing

    • Assist our buying team in continuous & relevant online references for product style extensions based on reads from current trade in preparation for review & strategy.
    • Work closely with the buyer to design accurate and detailed tech packs (seasonally and/or as necessary in preparation for review and strategy)
    • Execute technical information that is accurate on CADS in preparation for review and strategy.
    • Guided by the Buyer, assist in briefing prints to the graphics team, which assists the graphic team in strategic reviews and postmortems
    • Work with the buyer and trend teams to create the digital merchandise collection

    Sample management

    • Maintain records of samples purchased to create and maintain an updated registry.

    Qualifications

    • a completed Diploma /Degree in Fashion Design or Clothing Management
    • 2-3 years’ experience in CAD Design
    • Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and creating tech packs
    • Proficiency in the Adobe suite 
    • Understanding of the Retail Merchandise Product Process

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric).
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a call centre customer support role.
    • Computer literacy and confidence using different systems.
    • Knowledge of customer service legislation (NCA, POPIA).
