What will you do?
- This specialist role reports directly through to the RMM within the SPF Distribution Cape Region.
Output/Core Tasks
- Undertaking ongoing research and prospecting on key account opportunities
- Co-ordinate the contact and contracting for the activation of new key accounts
- Manage and grow a focused portfolio of key accounts
- Undertake financial education sessions at the key accounts (self and through the team of Financial Advisors)
- Manage the Key Account SLA including building effective relationships
- Manage and report on the performance of the key accounts
- Co-ordinate, manage and vest financial advisors working at these key accounts together with Sanlam Connect management team.

Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12, Financial/Business Degree (B.com, Bus. Science, Legal Degree)
- CFP® designation or Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning would be advantageous
- Extensive experience within a financial distribution business in a sales/marketing role
- Management (sales team) experience
- 5 years relevant industry experience
- Previous industry management experience will be a strong recommendation
- The successful candidate must meet the necessary FAIS requirements (120 credits included)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all new clients are vetted in accordance with product and legislative requirements and timeously handed over to the new business team for implementation on the prevailing system/s.
- Check all employer/legal entity registration documents
- Responsible to obtain and capture employer and beneficial owner party due diligence screening information
- Responsible for updating all dynamic risk assessment controls for our division
- Directly involved with template enhancements/ framework for the various reports

Qualification and Experience:

What will you do?
- The position heads up the Short Term insurance (STi) channel within SFP. The role is responsible to establish, structure and grow this channel including;
Create and drive the STi strategy and Value Proposition for SFP
- Understand the Sanlam Life Savings and SanlamConnect, and specifically the SFP strategy
- Understand the strategy and value drivers in order to ensure alignment of the STi strategy with the SFP strategy; and the national sales/marketing focus areas are in support of this strategy
