    Manager: Business Optimisation

    Key Responsibilities:

    Process Engineering:

    • Oversee and guide the analysis of existing workflows and processes across the SRM environment.
    • Prioritise and guide process reengineering efforts to optimise overall business impact.
    • Engage with relevant stakeholders to effectively to drive process adoption and adherence.
    • Identify, advise, and implement best practices in the field of operational excellence. 
    • Document and manage Distribution SOPS and SLA’s
    • Drive process automation within SDM

    MI and Data 

    • Drive data analysis across all key DEE functions 
    • Identify the data requirements, key metrics and KPIs and implement the required tools/systems to successfully collect and measure the relevant data 
    • Design and implement the reporting requirements, systems and standards needed to effectively visualize all critical metrics that effectively manages stakeholders and influence decision making.

    Risk Management:

    • Oversee and drive the implementation of the relevant risk management frameworks, procedures and reporting requirements. 
    • Ensure the effective identification and proactive mitigation of all key business risks.
    • Ensure that risk reports are compiled and shared with the relevant stakeholders.

    Qualification:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Minimum 3-year Degree / National Diploma in Business Management or a related field.
    • Post graduate qualification is advantageous.
    • Relevant certification in risk and compliance is advantageous.
    • Relevant certification in Operational Excellence is advantageous.

    Experience:

    • 5-7 Years experience in an operational environment within the financial services / insurance or retail industries (experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous).
    • Proven experience in MI and data.
    • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
    • Theoretical frameworks and principles relating to operational excellence
    • Understanding and application of digital platforms / operational performance measurement tools.
    • Understanding of MI and data management principles
    • Legislation and regulatory frameworks relating to functional area.
    • Client experience principles and frameworks (for example, TCF).
