    Area Manager Mechanical

    Short Description / Purpose of Job:

    • To cost effectively ensure the availability and integrity of safe and reliable assets to production.
    • Effective maintenance of the plant to ensure availability and reliability of the plant equipment and facilities, through coordinated preventative and corrective maintenance activities and systems.

    Process Technologist I (FT Synthesis) (110783)

    Short Description / Purpose of Job

    Provide Technical support to operating plants as a member of a process engineering team.  The process technologist contributes to achievement of production objectives, participates in implementation of improvements to at least one technology through the independent formulation of a technical approach, data assimilation, assessment, interpretation and contextualisation for a portfolio of small projects.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Monitors plant units against established criteria, analyse technical trends and reports on observed OWAP deviations and collaborates with shift management to correct.  Ensures alignment across shift teams on correction of deviations and improved operating procedures.
    • Collects plant data and evidence to supplement DCS and data historian information for problem analysis work.  Escalates problem investigation to senior technical support level if a solution and correction of the problem cannot be achieved within the agreed timeframe.

    • Implement plant modifications in accordance with the procedures of the MOC process and ensure full update of plant engineering documentation and proper close-out of modifications under your control.

    • Handle compliance requirements for EBS including statutory and legal compliance.
