    TFS - Analytics Engineer (Python)

    Your responsibilities can include:

    Development and Implementation:

    • Design, develop, and implement various tools to create visibility, reduce risk, and improve productivity in operations.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement software solutions.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code (we use python).
    • Integrate third-party libraries and APIs into external applications.
    • Optimize application performance for speed and efficiency.
    • Implement security best practices to protect user data.
    • Develop project documentation, including technical documentation and user guides in the form of SOPs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Infrastructure, Release Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytical Engineering, IT Services, and any other technical team required for scope of work.
    • Automate reporting processes using scripting languages (e.g. Python, Javascript, C#).

    Technical Skills and Tools:

    • Implement version control using GIT.
    • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Write technical documentation for APIs and libraries.
    • Implement analytics and tracking features in applications.
    • Design and implement database schemas.
    • Optimize database queries and indexes for performance where needed.
    • Develop RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend.
    • Implement error handling and logging mechanisms.
    • Estimate story points and task durations for sprint planning.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

    Qualifications and experience:

    • In the event that you do not have a bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 6 years of experience in a software/technology environment.
    • Minimum 3 years database knowledge and experience including the ability to write and optimize complex queries using SQL.
    • Minimum 2 years experience building end to end applications using python.
    • Experience with one or more system monitoring and alerting systems.
    • Experience designing and developing reports.
    • Understanding and experience in one of the following environments will be beneficial: ecommerce, supply chain & Logistics.
    • Linux server and networking experience is beneficial.

    Franchise Manager

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting in the setting up of SOP’s for all clients across the delivery platform
    • Constantly monitor and upgrade SOP’s where necessary
    • Assist with the training and set up of new Franchises
    • Train SOP’s at a Franchisee level
    • Monitor, manage and maintain the required Franchise service levels
    • Adherence of Franchisees to Hub Setup Manual and Franchise Agreement
    • Set and manage KPI’s at Franchise level
    • Regular audits to assess and measure process and execution performance
    • Local travel in and around an allocated region, as well as traveling to allocated regional hubs quarterly

    Operational DC Manager

    Purpose of this position: 

    • To manage the operations of the Distribution Centre on time, according to customer requirements, and within safety and quality regulations.

    Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Develop and execute functional operational plans that support business strategy and enable the distribution center to meet budgets, goals, targets, and due dates
    • Implement and maintain all required systems, processes, and procedures within the distribution center
    • Develop standard operating procedures for all areas and monitor and enforce compliance
    • Maximise the efficiency and productivity levels of the operation, ensure compliance with agreed standards, continuously seek to optimize processes, and find value opportunities for the division
    • Manage and report on Service Level Agreements (including overseeing management information reports if relevant)
    • Perform financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of data for the distribution center
    • Build effective, value-adding, transparent relationships with all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, and employees) through regular communication, reporting,and personal interaction
    • Evaluate technology and capital requirements as determined by the tactical plan of the division
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of teams within the distribution center, scheduling employees where required, and ensuring optimal productivity
    • Produce operational reports for management as required
    • Ensure all employees are suitably qualified and trained for their positions
    • Ensure that distribution services meet quality standards and customer requirements and that customer satisfaction levels meet agreed targets
    • Ensure that all outbound items leave the distribution center within agreed time frames and that all inbound items are packed away correctly and within agreed time frames
    • Ensure that all tender-order lead times are adhered to
    • Ensure that deliveries are on time as per agreed targets, improving processes where needed, and liaising with service providers to optimize processes 
    • Manage and report on the operational budget, managing costs to ensure that costs are in line with budget (egpackaging costs, transport costs)
    • Ensure that stock discrepancies are minimized by overseeing and putting in place effective Stock Control processes
    • Effective management of projects within the distribution center by meeting requirements of projects and adhering to deadlines
    • Identify potential risks that might affect the successful operation of the distribution centre, and put strategies and processes in place to mitigate these risks
    • Continuously assess processes and systems, and look for innovative ways to improve or introduce new processes, systems, and methods that will assist the distribution center in operating more effectively
    • Stay abreast of, evaluate, and implement appropriate modern world-class thinking in terms of distribution to ensure efficient, effective, and world-class operations

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree qualification in logistics/supply chain management
    • 5-8 years of experience in logistics/distribution.
    • Experience in managing teams
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health and Safety
    • legislation, and labor legislation.
    • Knowledge of distribution processes/operations
    • Proficient in relevant computer packages and applications

    Junior Shift Manager

    Outbound DC Manager

    Key responsibility :

    • Overall management and coordination of all warehousing functions in the Outbound area
    • Operate an efficient Distribution Centre by identifying, implementing and managing optimal processes and procedures, to minimize costs and maximize working capital

    • Must be Analytically minded and able to find and use data to inform decision making
