    Coordinator, Brand Merchandising & Experience

    Job Description

    • To coordinate and execute Brand Experience and Merchandising initiatives, through sourcing and brand activations at SBG commercial/retail sites.
    • Responsible for quality oversight of operations in Brand Experience retail store.
    • Coordinate, organise and report on first line query management on the Brand merchandise digital platform. Facilitate and execute administrative duties on Brand Merchandising governance platforms, procurement processes to deliver promotional items and experience design projects.

    Job Description

    • To deliver a seamless, one-and-done banking experience by responding to client enquiries across Personal, Prestige, and Private Banking. The role focuses on accurately understanding client needs, resolving requests efficiently, and identifying opportunities to add value, while ensuring full compliance with product, risk, and legislative requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for client enquiries across products and account activities, providing accurate, timely resolution across branch, voice, and digital channels.
    • Deliver service excellence by resolving client demands in a one-and-done manner while adhering to FAIS, KYC, POPI, and internal risk and compliance standards.
    • Identify and act on client needs during interactions by promoting appropriate products, services, and digital channels, contributing to sales growth and client satisfaction.
    • Open, amend, transfer, and close accounts in line with laid-down procedures, ensuring accurate onboarding, mandates, and documentation.

    Qualifications

    • National Certificate in Banking (NQF 5) or higher FAIS-aligned qualification in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related field.
    • FAIS Representative status is required, in line with FSCA Fit and Proper requirements.

    Experience Required:

    • 1 to 3 years’ experience providing financial services advice, operating within FAIS and FSCA regulatory frameworks.
    • 3 or more years’ experience in banking within a regulated financial services environment, with hands-on exposure to client servicing and transactional banking.
    • Proven sales track record in a banking or financial services environment, demonstrating the ability to identify opportunities, influence client decisions, and consistently achieve sales or service-driven revenue targets.
    • Strong understanding of banking products, client account conduct, and end-to-end service processes, with the ability to balance client needs and commercial outcomes.

    Branch Manager

    Job Description

    • To manage and develop all branch resources including people, processes and systems to deliver a sustainable and profitable branch/point of representation (PORs) income statement and balance sheet, while embedding a strong, disciplined and client-focused culture aligned to the local catchment strategy.     • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Representative status is required
    • Regulatory Examinations Level 1 and Level 5 are preferred if not already held.

    Experience Required

    • A minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience within a retail or personal banking environment, including proven experience in branch or sales and service leadership.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing a branch income statement and balance sheet, driving sales performance, client growth and operational delivery.
    • Experience leading teams of managers and frontline staff, with accountability for performance, conduct, development and engagement.

    Senior Engineer, Risk Analytics

    Job Description

    • As a Risk Analytics Engineer, you are the critical bridge between advanced analytics and our production environment. You will be embedded within a cross-functional squad, responsible for the operationalization of risk models and strategies.
    • Your primary mission is to ensure that the analytical solutions built by our data scientists and risk analysts—from credit scorecards to real-time fraud models—are deployed, monitored, and managed in a robust, automated, and scalable fashion.
    • You will build and own the Machine Learning Operations pipelines and solutions that bring our risk intelligence to life.
    • Machine Learning Operations Pipeline Development (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment): Design, build, and maintain automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines to test, validate, and deploy risk models and decisioning logic.
    • Model Deployment & Serving: Package (containerize) and deploy Machine Learning models and analytical engines as secure, versioned, and low-latency APIs, creating our "Risk-as-a-Service" capability.
    • Production Monitoring: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions for deployed models, tracking data drift, model performance degradation, and technical health (latency, errors).
    • Automation of Strategy: Work with Decisioning Configuration Analysts to automate the deployment and testing of business rules and strategies.

    Qualifications

    Qualification: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

    Experience Required

    • 3-5+ years experience in the relevant technical role such as DevOps Engineer, Machine Learning Operations Engineer, Software Engineer or Data Engineer with focus on automation.
    • Strong programming proficiency, particularly in Python.
    • Proven experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment tools (e.g. Github actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
