    Trade and Packaging Lab Specialist

    • The key purpose of this role is to manage and co-ordinate brewery quality control and to ensure quality analysis is conducted in compliance with the company standards and specifications for the transformation into information.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

    Maintain safe, healthy and risk-free working environment 

    • Implement safety, health/environmental procedures and legislation 
    • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards 
    • Uphold and contribute to a culture of quality & Food safety excellence, taking ownership of systems & processes to ensure the highest standards are met 

    Manage Human Resources

    Quality control governance for the brewery

    • Standards are in place and well understood
    • Training is done against the specified methods
    • Verification of the execution of the procedures to ensure that they comply with the standards
    • Ensure that equipment is calibrated and is functioning as per original standard.
    • Highlight of any deviations to the Brewing manager, Packaging manager and Plant manager for action and stopping of the process when necessary

    Manage quality control environment

    • Conform to value chain requirements

    • Maintain performance management system

    Lead Quality strategy as per VPO 

    • Improve quality compliance and management on site and reduce reputational risks for the site
    • Achieve VPO targets and Quality KPI and PI targets for the site

    Minimum Requirements:  

    • Min – Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology or equivalent 
    • Quality certification in Quality Engineering/Management or TQM
    • City & Guilds Qualification recommended. Qualified ISO 9000 series auditor
    • 2-3 Years in Laboratory, Brewing or Packaging operation

    Distribution Supervisor

    • The Key Purpose of this role is to to drive a consistent Service Level by ensuring superior Point Of Consumption (POC) execution of  the Delivery Process while executing our competition strategy responsibly. Grow profitability by exploiting delivery mode opportunities.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

    Delivery Productivity Management 

    • In trade coaching with errant offenders on MBFU, refusals and OODD
    • Ensuring that delivery modes are adhered and continually look for opportunities to pursue cost effective modes
    • Master Data verified for accuracy
    • Verification of shipment for Owner Drivers to ensure accurate payment through Centralised Payment of Owner Drivers (CPODs) and 
    • Spotlight Payments of Owner Drivers(SPODs)
    • Adherence to market visit plan within trade presence at a minimum of x3 days a week ensuring adherence to SOPs and OWDs done 
    • to open the gap where necessary
    • Manage day to day productivity KPIs such as departure, on route, and arrival for driver to ensure eliminate idle time.
    • Maximising volume by ensuring efficient fleet and availability of drivers to execute. 
    • Ensuring on time deliveries by conducting morning start-ups to assist drivers with day-to-day challenges ensuring that plan vs actual is met.

    Quality Management 

    • Ensure Quality is clear in the Route Delivery Execution Process and people know and follow it.
    • Ensure all employees understand the customer complaint process. Process is in place, KPI is tracked and there are action plans to 
    • Improve results. Consumer complaints GOPS are being tracked and implemented
    • Ensure that the driver base is trained and equipped to identify quality related issues and understands correct handling methodology to 
    • Minimise issues Capacity Occupation and Refusal Management
    • Establish SLA with commercial on Capacity Occupation daily optimisation
    • Ensure that appropriate communication channel in place and action plans have been developed to track Refusals
    • Ensure return policies are in place and they cover all items and they are adhered to and updated. Following the T2 returns process in 
    • Line with Distribution Process Optimisation Process (DPO).
    • Establish routines with CXC to track performance
    • Create an environment that allows for cross functional learning and integration
    • Conduct driver morning meetings x3 times a week to align all necessary trainings, OWDs and coaching in line with DPO standards 
    • Verify load plan accuracy daily with CORE to ensure efficient deliveries 
    • Manage driver working hours by ensuring the correct clustering of the different delivery sectors 
    • Ensure daily communication to customers to provide accurate ETAs of orders to manage net promoter score (NPS)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant 3-year tertiary degree/diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and or Logistics
    • 2 years’ experience in a customer service role within an FMCG
    • Supply Chain and or Logistics
    • Valid Code 08 Drivers License
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • SAP experience will be preferred
    • Knowledge of customer service principles

    BDR 1

    • The Key purpose of this role is to work towards achieving growth in volumes sold, growth in market share and increased competitiveness through providing market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified segments.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
    • Manage and supervise Distributors of assigned sector (orders, payment, re-distribution).
    • Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets.
    • Ensure merchandising (visibility of the brands in terms of POS and Chillers) in the customers and retail outlets.
    • Ensure chillers are properly placed in the performing outlet and used exclusively for IBPLC products in the assigned sector.
    • Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets.
    • Closely monitor actions of the competition.

    Key Attributes and Competencies:

    • Basic computer literacy and experience working with Microsoft Office.
    • Local area knowledge is a requirement.
    • Excellent administration skills.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3-year degree qualification.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a sales/marketing/FMCG environment
    • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver's license.
