    Financial Manager Senior Bookkeeper

    • In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of bookkeeping functions, from managing accounts to overseeing payroll and preparing monthly financial reports. There is no other Finance employee in the Company, the Auditor handles the remaining tasks.
    • You will be required to handle all forex matters and ensure best decisions are made with regards to this. The Company imports from Europe, America and Asia.
    • This is medium sized business (23 employees) with very much a family feel to it and we’re looking for someone that would be comfortable handling some general administrative type tasks such as organising car licences as an example.

    What you’ll need

    • A degree or diploma in finance would be preferred. However, we’d consider someone with a Matric qualification that has  a solid background as a Senior Bookkeeper, with a minimum of 10 – 20 years senior bookkeeping experience.
    • A non-negotiable requirement is someone from a stock / sales background with strong forex experience.
    • Advanced skills in bookkeeping and financial ERP software (Sage Evolution preferred) are essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office.
    • Your ability to maintain order and accuracy with minimal oversight will be a strong asset, as will your comfort in a role without clear paths for upward mobility.
