    Electrician

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    • Electrician is required to install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Read technical diagrams and blueprints. Perform general electrical maintenance.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Compilation and updating of equipment registers (safety).
    • To ensure that machinery used in the unit is maintained, set correctly and free of safety hazards.
    • Input and print job cards and stores requisitions on the planned maintenance system.
    • Provide technical support to machine operators.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and maintenance inspections.
    • Applying pro-active preventative maintenance principles
    • Maximize performance on all equipment.
    • Complete job cards, logbooks and inspection reports.
    • Compile electrical schedules for the plant.
    • Exposure to PLCs. preferably Siemens S7
    • Exposure to AC drives and sequential control systems

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    • Computer literacy and exposure to Computer Maintenance management System preferably DMS.
    • Interpersonal relationship skills.
    • Team player within multi-functional team.
    • Call out and standby responsibilities, including overtime work as required.
    • Situational problem-solving abilities.
    • Pro-active and driven by sustainable solutions.
    • Strong logical/diagnostic approach to troubleshooting.
    • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
    • Instrumentation/Pneumatic experience is a requirement.
    • Willing to work on a shift basis.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Qualified, trade tested artisan
    • Minimum N3 technical qualification
    • 4-6 years electrical experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG will be an advantage)

    National Distribution Manager

    Focus Areas:

    • Risk Management activities relating to the fleet and the delivery service in the trade.

    Shopper Marketing Manager: STB MT

    CATEGORY & SHOPPER UNDERSTANDING

    • Motivate for & deliver Shopper Research, extracting key insights & delivering recommended action plans to leverage the associated growth opportunities
    • Scope out & evaluate all shopper media platforms & touchpoints across channels/clusters as a basis for media selection in support of shopper plans 
    • Undertake deep dive category & basket analytics to identify shopper-led trends, upside opportunities, & potential threats at category & brand across channels/clusters

    STRATEGIC SHOPPER PLANS

    • Work closely with Marketing to develop strategic shopper plans (incorporating shopper presence, value, & engagement) in support of brand equity building/share gains, innovation launches, & purchasing behaviour to drive brand participation in targeted consumption occasions & usage, determining & managing associated shopper activation budgets 
    • Collaborate with Trade Marketing to build Channel/Cluster “Look of Success,” launch GTM plans, & shopper campaigns to deliver the strategic shopper plans as well as Channel/Custer/Customer specific initiatives to take advantage of identified basket conversion opportunities for category / brand.
    • Support Trade Marketing in building commercial arguments for customers & providing strategic shopper inputs into Joint Business Planning & Category Reviews.
    • Quarterly strategy reviews are to be undertaken and Shopper Marketing Plans revised accordingly in response to changing market dynamics, new opportunities, & Identified risks. 

    REVENUE MANAGEMENT

    • Work closely with Revenue Management & Trade Marketing to:
    • review pack:price architecture by channel/cluster to competitive satisfy shopper needs & optimise range performance for TB & the trade
    • determine optimised promotional mechanics & pricing levels by channel/cluster to drive brand switching & profitably build basket size/mix in line with shopper plans

    PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

    • Ensure that all shopper marketing plans are executed on time & in full, delivering the objectives/ROI set, timeously addressing delays & shortfalls
    • Proactively drive launch GTM to maximise the impact & traction of brand innovations in targeted trade outlets
    • Prepare routine reviews of category & brand performance (sales out / basket KPIs) detailing causes of gaps & proposing responsive actions to address shortfalls & capitalise on opportunities
    • Support Trade Marketing in Customer Reviews & JBP Status Updates with shopper-led insights & recommendations on  growth driving initiatives.

    Maintenance Assistant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist artisans and technicians with maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
    • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning machine components, lubricating moving parts, and replacing filters or worn items.
    • Support with breakdown response activities by preparing tools, accessing parts, and ensuring quick turnaround.
    • Monitor and report on abnormal machine behaviour or safety hazards.
    • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify wear and potential faults.
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
    • Help in organizing the maintenance workshop and stores area.
    • Record maintenance activities in logs or checklists as directed.
    • Assist with installation or removal of equipment as required.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
    • Technical certificate or N2 in mechanical or electrical field (preferred).
    • 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems and tools.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
    • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
    • Basic understanding of maintenance documentation and work permits.

    Customer Marketing Analyst

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Gather, cleanse, and integrate EPOS data, converting the information into insight for the customer marketing managers
    • Analyse information sources available to the team (Nielsen, Dunnhumby etc.) and identify opportunities for shopper marketing and category management improvements
    • Interpret ranging reports and make recommendations to support category management activities delivered by the customer marketing managers (this includes pricing, sales, competitor reports). These should confirm alignment of channel strategy with the portfolio strategy
    • Review merchandising standards across channels in order to spot opportunities for improvement
    • Monitor implementation of shopper plans in order to develop a common understanding within the team of what excellent activation looks like
    • Present measurements and analysis to customers (trade) when required as part of joint business planning or regular customer meetings
    • Look to develop tools and processes that help support customer teams to understand, share, and efficiently use the data they are provided with (report structures and call outs, systems to support space planning activities)

    QA Pharmacist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deputise for the responsible pharmacist during his/her absence
    • Be responsible for quality assurance and form an integral part of the decision-making process in all areas affecting the quality of the product.
    • Implement the quality management system through continuous monitoring and improving of the system within Tiger Brands as well as at contract packers in line with regulatory guidelines.
    • Assist the responsible pharmacist in co-ordinating the recall activities as per regulatory requirements, MCC guidelines and company procedures. 
    • Be responsible for final product approval of product before release of product for resale to market after QC approval by approved manufacturer or laboratory by ensuring all batch documentation complies to master documentation
    • Review, implement and/or update the necessary SOPs and processes to allow optimal departmental functioning consistent with current practices and regulatory requirements
    • Implement, review and document adequate and appropriate training of all staff on relevant SOPs
    • Handle all product complaints and adverse events according to regulatory requirements
    • Review and update site master file in line with MCC guidelines
    • Carry out annual product quality reviews as per MCC guidelines
    • Attend and participate in all MCC and other regulatory audits
    • Review changes to legislation and update SOPs accordingly
    • Liaise with QC pharmacists at contract manufacturers to ensure integrity and quality of released product

    Key attributes and competencies

    • Strong sense of quality- intolerant to mediocrity and compromise on product integrity
    • Sound knowledge of MCC policies and procedures– Full understanding of the Act and its application within our business
    • Computer Literacy – Comfort working across Microsoft suite and Tiger systems
    • Detail Oriented – Ability to dive into detail and commitment to complete tasks

    Experience

    • Relevant tertiary degree in Pharmacy
    • Registration with SA Pharmacy council
    • Experience in quality assurance essential
    • Experience in regulatory affairs a benefit
    • Timeous release of products as per SLA with supply chain
    • Audit of 3rd party contract manufactures and implementation of corrective actions
    • Compliance of internal and external  staff and site with requirements of South African Pharmacy Council
