IT Infrastructure Technician at Western Cape Blood Service

Main purpose of the role:

• To install, maintain, support, troubleshoot and monitor ICT infrastructure including IT asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, deployment and Support of ICT infrastructure
• Diagnosing and performing ICT support and resolving calls within the specified SLA’s
• Maintaining and Supporting the End User Computing Environment
• Ensuring operational readiness, security and availability of IT systems
• IT asset management and administration
• Assisting with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Measures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in enterprise IT Infrastructure
• Experience administering Microsoft technologies (Azure, MS-365, Server 2019 and later), 
• Proven experience with installing and configuring software using SCCM or Intune
• Valid Code B driver’s license without endorsements is essential

Qualification:

• National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Either Microsoft 365 Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate

Advantageous:

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• VMware Certification
• Network Certification (either Fortinet or CCNA)
• Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
