    Legal Advisor

    In this role you will be responsible for the following;

    • To act as the Shared Service regional, in-house Attorney, dealing on a day-to-day basis with all matters that have legal consequence, as well as providing guidance, advice, and if necessary, intervention, on the day to day running of the business from a general and legal perspective.
    • Ensuring that the Company complies with all statutory requirements and relevant international and local codes.
    • To draft all legal documentation including official letters, submissions, reports, agreements and promotional competition terms and conditions.

    A day in the life of...

    • Negotiating, drafting and authorising of contracts and other legal documents
    • Provision of day-to-day legal, and general, advice and opinions
    • Resolving of disputes / litigious matters
    • Performing regional day-to-day Company Secretarial duties
    • Co-ordination and running of formal litigation
    • Responsible for the “legal” side of the property portfolio
    • Performing coordinating control function across the business
    • Interpreting and commenting on draft legislation affecting the Company
    • Serving in various forums representing the Company
    • Handling of consumer disputes when serious, or litigation contemplated
    • Handling of matters referred to the ARB
    • Protection of the group’s intellectual property
    • Special Tasks requested by Company Secretary or any Director

    What will make you successful

    • Experience 5-7 yrs
    • Experience with Legal Department in FMCG Company         
    • Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years corporate experience

    External Communications Manager

    Position Summary
    Under the supervision of the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Director, the incumbent will enhance and strengthen Nestlé’s corporate reputation with external and internal stakeholders through impactful story-telling; create a communications environment that fosters positive attitude, openness, engagement and exceptional performance. 

    A day in the life of an External Communications Manager

    • Implement and monitor an effective external communications strategy that aims to strengthen the reputation of the company. 
    • Prepare the company for issues and crises through development and management of crisis communication responses and escalation plans. 
    • Manage media requests and manage effective media relations that help to achieve profile-raising and strategic organization goals. 
    • Active issues scanning, analysis and tracking potential matters that impact the reputation of Nestlé and the brands. 
    • Provide communications advice and support to Nestlé business units, shared services and clusters.  
    • Oversee the implementation of an online, digital and social media strategy through a well thought and actionable tactical plan. 
    • Develop innovative ideas and creative ways to tell stories in a cost-effective manner. 
    • Coach and develop CCPA managers in Clusters by guiding on external communications, overseeing implementation of cluster strategies and overall guidance on media queries in ESAR countries.

    What will make you successful

    • Degree level education. 
    • Strong public and corporate affairs track-record (5 – 10 years). 
    • Project Management qualifications desirable. 
    • Strong language skills in English. 
    • Experience in Corporate Public Relations and Media Relations management. 
    • Experience in developing external communications strategy. 
    • Experience in reputation management and building. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication and verbal communication skills. 
    • Crisis management experience desirable. 
    • Experience in providing advisory services to Executive Management and all levels of the organisation.
