An exciting opportunity has become available within Absa Group Corporate strategy division for an individual with exceptional track record.
The Manager Corporate Strategy will be a self-starter, agile and entrepreneurial minded with the passion to make a difference. You will be responsible for strategy formulation support which includes orchestration of necessary process to facilitate strategic alignment between Group and individual business areas, develop strategy development methodologies and frameworks, develop and defend hypothesis/ insights/ recommendations, manage and oversees analytical analysis to enable effective decision-making and drive a consistent high quality strategic standard across the Group.
To succeed in the role, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partner with strategy functions to align on strategic objectives and collectively drive strategic outcomes, effectively communicate developments and requirements across the business portfolio, ensure impeccable and timeous service levels and communicate on the business performance and Strategy for the group. You will be required to stay abreast of industry trends and ensure that AGL is well positioned to provide competitive and industry leading services

A vacancy for a Director has become available within our Absa Corporate Strategy division. The post holder will help lead the annualized strategy development and planning methodology and process for Absa Group Limited, Influence and guide the business performance of the whole Group.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategy development, have knowledge around the macro understanding of the business environment and industry landscape and be entrepreneurial minded. Strong collaboration and influencing skills is required and extensive knowledge of competitor and non-competitor strategy and practices within the Banking sector
