    Paid Social Performance Specialist (George, Western Cape / On-site)

    The Role

    You are the commercial driver behind our lead generation and web conversion strategy across:

    • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
    • TikTok
    • Pinterest
    • Emerging social platforms

    Requirements

    What You’ll Own

    Campaign Strategy & Execution

    • Full platform ownership across Meta, TikTok & Pinterest
    • Build and optimise lower-funnel campaigns (Lead Gen & Web Conversions)
    • Translate business targets into clear, ROI-driven media plans
    • Allocate budget strategically to maximise ROAS

    Technical Setup & Data Integrity

    • Own Pixel & Tag architecture (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest)
    • Implement and manage Conversions API (CAPI)
    • Build advanced audience stacks:
    • Lookalikes
    • CRM Custom Audiences
    • Behavioural retargeting buckets
    • Ensure every Rand is tracked. Accounted for. Optimised.

    Budget & Stakeholder Management

    • Control daily burn rate and monthly spend pacing
    • Provide daily performance feedback loops (CPL, CPA, lead quality)
    • Report on business metrics, not vanity metrics
    • Analyse Quote-to-Sale ratios and optimise for profitability

    Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

    Education

    • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or a related commercial field.

    Experience

    • Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in Paid Social / Performance Marketing (Agency or client-side experience acceptable, with meaningful budget exposure)

    Mandatory Certifications

    • You must hold current (or demonstrable) certification in:
    • Meta Certified Media Buying Professional OR Meta Certified Media Planning Professional
    • TikTok Media Buying Professional Certification
    • Pinterest Media Buyer Certification
    • Google Analytics (GA4) Certification Including exploration reports, attribution modelling & event tracking

    Business Development Lead – Strategic Pet Partnerships

    Requirements

    What You’ll Own

    • Origination and structuring of high-value strategic pet and adjacent ecosystem partnerships
    • Senior-level commercial negotiations (pricing, revenue share, service models)
    • ExCo- and Board-ready business cases with full financial, operational and risk assessment
    • Commercial performance across the partnership portfolio (revenue, margin, contribution)
    • Partner KPIs, SLAs, forecasting accuracy and continuation decisions
    • End-to-end partnership lifecycle governance — from qualification to scale or exit
    • Cross-functional orchestration across Operations, Sales, Pricing, Marketing, Compliance, Finance and Projects
    • Design and ownership of scalable partner governance frameworks and operating models
    • Senior stakeholder and partner relationship leadership
    • Selective strategic engagement with dealer groups, OEMs and outsourced portfolios

    This Role Is Not

    • Transactional business development
    • Execution-only partner management
    • A people-management role
    • This role exists to protect value, unlock scale, and reduce risk.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 7–10 years’ experience in strategic partnerships, commercial or business development within insurance, financial services or regulated environments
    • Proven experience structuring, launching and governing complex partnerships
    • Strong commercial and financial acumen, forecasting, margin analysis, risk trade-offs
    • Confident influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
    • Comfortable making continuation, remediation or exit recommendations
    • Clear, structured thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Degree in Business, Finance, Law or similar (preferred)
    • Willingness to travel nationally
