    Business Enablement Associate, BDB (BD Biosciences)

    About the role

    • We are seeking a proactive Business Enablement Associate to support BD Biosciences' commercial team across Africa. You'll act as the key link between distributors, customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and pricing data to support sales strategies.
    • Assist with completion of business tools for profitability assessment of commercial deals
    • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.) to align business objectives.
    • Conduct research on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
    • Supervise performance metrics and report progress to management.

    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

    Business Development Manager - Surgery, BDI (BD Interventional)

    About the role

    • The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and promote the adoption of innovative surgical products. They will work closely with the regional sales and marketing teams, provide market insights, and contribute to the long-term strategic expansion of the Surgery business. This position requires frequent travel, primarily within South Africa and occasionally to other Sub-Saharan African destinations, including overnight stays.

    About you:

    • Minimum of five years’ experience in medical device sales with a record of strong commercial performance. Experience with surgery products is considered a plus.
    • Comprehensive understanding of the medical devices market and healthcare environment in Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • Ability to interpret sales data and market trends and collaborate across functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior professionals.

    Sales Team Leader UCC (Urology & Critical Care)

    About the role

    • The Sales Leader, UCC will be responsible to ensure delivery on revenue growth in line with the forecast and agreed strategic priorities, along with leading a team. They will manage all commercial activities including product development, marketing strategy, pricing, promotion, distribution, training, customer support & build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.     Product Manager - Diagnostic Systems Microbiology, Africa

    About the role

    • As the Product manager covering DS Microbiology & Lab Automation solutions, the role encompasses the development of marketing strategies and implementation with customer support functions.
    • They will align with the commercial teams, DS initiatives, product portfolio, local market trends/data to identify projects for evidence-based generation, KOL engagement and develop marketing strategy & ensure customer experience and centricity excellence by analyzing continual external and internal training/support needs.

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Provide application support where needed and standardize training curriculum and matrix for internal and external distributors and direct customers.
    • Creating value proposition and evidence for KOL advocacy

    About you

    • BSc degree in Microbiology and/or Medical Laboratory Sciences with a strong understanding of Microbiology workflow and international/national guidelines.
    • Proven experience in a microbiology lab with commercial/product management or marketing in a similar environment.
    • Field communication – supporting the sales team and attending customer meetings as required. Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs within the in-vitro diagnostic market (IVD)
    • Ability to work autonomously and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and completing work.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
    • Self-motivated with a desire for self-development.
    • An ability to show initiative and a flexible team player.
