    Maintenance Technician - Rosslyn

    We’re hiring a Millwright in our maintenance department

    As a Millwright you will be responsible for:

    • All maintenance and associated maintenance functions within our production facility

    The intent of this role include:

    • All maintenance activities in our production facility including but not limited to:
    • Maintenance, service, and repair work of all process equipment
    • Installation and deinstallation of machinery
    • Commissioning & decommissioning of industrial machinery/installations.
    • Diagnostic testing and faultfinding
    • Routine inspections, Preventative, and scheduled maintenance
    • Lube services
    • Building maintenance and Plumbing
    • Accurate reporting on CMMS, and RCA on problematic equipment
    • You will be part of a functional team and must be able to work independent

    Your Challenge:

    Find your role in and fit into an established maintenance team in a fast-moving production environment, with additional established WMP (Working Maintenance Procedure) in the following environments:

    • Safety regulations compliance in both Local and International disciplines
    • Performing breakdown repairs timeously and minimizing downtime
    • 24/7 Process operation – Maintenance Standby
    • Short-term shutdown Periods
    • May provide functional guidance and supervision to assigned semi-skilled workers.

    Physically and mentally fit to:

    • Work at heights
    • Lifting and handling of heavy equipment
    • Driving safety.
    • World class safety standard

    Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

    • Maintenance Team, Production area leaders, Shift leaders and Operators

    Qualifications

    To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

    • Millwright Red Seal Trade certificate
    • Five years post qualification experience
    • Electrical or Mechanical diploma will be advantages.
    • Wireman’s License will be advantages
    • Registered gas practitioner will be advantages
    • Good interactive people skills
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Windows platform, Maintenance programs)
    • Valid driver’s license Required

    Field Agronomist

    As Field Agronomist you will be responsible for develop and provide agronomic, product and service education and training to the field sales force that helps support the sales and service of Pioneer ® brand products and associated technologies. Support the field sales force by working to resolve customer service calls. Provides product, agronomic and general crop production information through several mediums directly to customers. Actively involved in demand creation of Pioneer seed. Work with the Agronomy Manager to plan and conduct Business Unit region agronomy field trials and demonstrations that provide information that will improve the management and/or positioning of Pioneer products. Create with Agronomy Manager and deliver agronomic product and digital services information which improves the productivity and profitability of Pioneer customers. Serve as primary agronomic resource to account managers to resolve difficult customer concerns.

    You Will Be Part of Growing Team

    Responsible for managing the Eastern Free state area for agronomic and general crop production, training of the salespersons in that area.

    Your Challenge:

    • Builds, develops, and retains effective relationships with field sales force and area managers
    • Instills confidence into the sales force for new products and assists with marketing of these products
    • Builds and maintains relationships with farmers
    • Assists with complaint investigation and resolution relating to agronomic performance of products.
    • Performs trials to promote understanding of new products and fine-tune product placement

    Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

    • Working with the Pioneer dealers, Area Manager and the customers requires not only being technically skilled, but also the ability to forge relationships. These are critical skills for the job.

    • Eastern Free State – Bethlehem

    Qualifications

    • B Sci Agric Honorus – University degree in Agronomy or related discipline
    • 3-5 Years of working experience in the same field
    • Licensed driver
    • Fluency in Afrikaans and English
    • Intermediate communication skills in selling, negotiating, influencing, and presenting information to the field sales organization and to customers.

    Territory Sales Representative

    As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for marketing and sales of our wide spectrum of crops and pasture, building relationships with key players in the grain industry as well as our dynamic South African farmers and work in close partnership with leading companies in the industry
