    Human Capital Consulting - Senior Manager Cape Town 1

    Job summary:

    • As a member of the People Consulting team, focused on designing and implementing large-scale, complex, global transformation programmes across various sectors, you will join a talented group of professionals that help support and improve businesses through their various types of transformation.  

    Key responsibilities:

    As a Senior Manager specialising in Change Management, you will be a key resource on business transformation projects for our clients. From a technical perspective, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Developing and implementing a Change Management strategy that supports the organisation's vision and business objectives
    • Leading Change Management initiatives across the organisation, including technology rollouts, process improvements, organisational restructuring, cultural change, etc.
    • Overseeing a team of Change Management professionals, providing guidance, training and performance management
    • Conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness, and identifying and actively managing key stakeholders
    • Designing and executing communication and engagement plans to ensure all affected parties are aware of the changes and understand their roles within the transition
    • Creating training programmes and materials to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and skill development for changes
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, project management, and departmental leaders, to align Change Management activities with business goals
    • Monitoring the adoption of changes and gauging the effectiveness of Change Management activities, making adjustments as necessary
    • Managing resistance to change through proactive engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution
    • Establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the success of Change Management efforts and report regularly to senior leadership
    • Acting as a Strategic Advisor to the client, integrating knowledge and insights from all areas of the business and streams of the transformation project to deliver an all-encompassing and seamless change experience for stakeholders
    • Developing and coaching leaders of the organisation to be true Change Leaders who drive the change through all levels of the business

    In this role, you should be able to deliver quality client service, analyse complex problems and deliver insightful solutions, while also managing resources to deliver on the project objectives. You will also be expected to have advanced written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, be able to engage in critical thinking, take initiative, and be able to quickly integrate into new teams and rapidly establish relationships both internally and externally. More specifically, the successful candidate should:

    • Demonstrate technical competence in Change Management and take a practical / business-driven approach to solving complex client challenges
    • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and engagements
    • Stay up-to-date with key technical and functional skills, as well as industry trends
    • Go the extra mile to deliver high-quality deliverables
    • Be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions

    To qualify, candidates must have:

    • Relevant postgraduate qualification
    • Certification in Change Management methodology (e.g. Prosci) is advantageous
    • Relevant professional experience, for example, previous Consulting experience and/or experience in successfully leading and implementing Change Management programmes for  large-scale transformation projects
    • At least 8 to 10 years’ experience in Change Management

    Graphic Designer (AI Focused)

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist in the development and design of branding materials such as brochures, placemats, illustrations, layouts, infographics, presentations, and social media content under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Analyse provided information and resources to establish design concepts and produce initial drafts in accordance with project briefs.
    • Adhere to EY brand guidelines, maintaining high standards for aesthetic quality, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
    • Remain up-to-date with current design trends, and effectively communicate these insights with team members and clients.
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues and internal project leaders to achieve optimal outcomes.
    • Effectively manage multiple assignments and deadlines with direction from supervisors.
    • Engage with clients to clarify design requirements and facilitate idea exchange.
    • Deliver design solutions and contribute creative input during the decision-making process.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries via Teams and Email as necessary.

    Print responsibilities

    • The Print Production Specialist is responsible for printing, packaging and delivery of the final product.
    • Print production of high-quality materials including, but not limited to Brochures; Trifold; Z-fold; Gatefold; Placemats; Invitations; Name tags; Table Talkers; Belly bands; Lamination; Wire binding; Glue binding; etc
    • Proactively liaise with technicians and Procurement with regards to managing the printer and all related materials
    • Proactively engage the required individuals to resolve print issues as and when they arise
    • Maintain an inventory of print stocks (Print toner, paper etc) ensuring that orders are placed in advance so that printing jobs are not interrupted.

    AI focused Responsibilities

    • AI-Assisted Design Creation: Use AI tools to create graphics and brand assets as per client briefs.
    • Video Content Production: Employ AI for editing videos, motion graphics, and visual effects.
    • Interactive Content Development: Build interactive, AI-powered marketing content.
    • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on AI and design advancements to keep the team innovative.
    • Workflow Optimisation: Apply AI to streamline creative processes and train colleagues.
    • Creative Ideation: Work with teams to generate and deliver AI-driven campaign ideas.

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum 2+ years of experience, preferably within an agency
    • Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Graphic Design
    • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
    • Proficiency with AI tools

    Associate Director - Transaction strategy execution

    Responsibilities

    As a Associate director within the TSE team, you would be required to:

    • Lead client engagement teams in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of integrations, carve-outs, and other types of transaction engagements.
    • Demonstrate skills in project leadership, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation.
    • Identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
    • Develop client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products.

    To qualify, candidates must have:

    Deep business operations experience:

    • Operating model development and design
    • Strong understanding of the link between a businesses’ operating environment and resulting financial performance

    Qualifications:

    Candidates should ideally have one of the below qualifications and/or experience:

    • A bachelor's degree (business, finance, supply chain, engineering, computer science or related field, etc.) and approximately 7 - 10 years of related work experience; or equivalent work experience
    • Professional services / consulting experience: from a management consultancy, corporate finance firm or as an 'internal consultant' in a corporate environment
    • Experience related to transactions (ideally due diligence, M&A, carve-out or integrations experience)
    • Related certification a plus

    Other Skills Required:

    • Experience in leading and managing complex business environments
