    N6 Internship Program: Information Technology

    Description

    • The intern will support day-to-day ICT operations, assist users with basic technical issues, and gain exposure to systems, networks, hardware, software, and administrative IT processes.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first-line support to staff for basic hardware, software, printer, email, and network-related issues.
    • Assist with setting up computers, laptops, user accounts, printers, and other ICT equipment.
    • Install, configure, and update approved software under supervision.
    • Log, track, and follow up on IT support requests using the company’s helpdesk or ticketing process.
    • Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity checks and escalation of unresolved issues.
    • Support data backup, file management, and basic system administration tasks.
    • Maintain IT asset records, equipment registers, and documentation.
    • Assist with ICT projects, system rollouts, and user training where required.
    • Follow company policies relating to information security, confidentiality, and responsible use of technology.
    • Perform general administrative duties within the IT department.
    • N6 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related ICT field.
    • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Completed theoretical studies and seeking practical workplace experience.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems and escalate where necessary.
    • Willingness to learn, take instructions, and work as part of a team.
    • South African citizenship
    • Previous experience is not required, but basic IT support exposure will be advantageous.
    • Available to work over weekends and festive periods when required by the company

    Senior Sales Generator (2IC)

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    As the Senior Sales Generator (2IC), you’ll play a critical role in the day‑to‑day success of the store by:

    • Driving sales performance through customer engagement and conversion
    • Acting as second‑in‑charge in the Store Manager/Supervisor’s absence
    • Leading by example on the sales floor
    • Coaching and motivating the team to hit daily and monthly targets
    • Upholding visual merchandising and brand standards
    • Assisting with stock control, shrinkage prevention, and housekeeping
    • Ensuring service excellence at all times

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Store Manager/ Supervisor in achieving sales targets, KPIs, and store profitability
    • Lead, motivate, and support the store team to deliver excellent customer service
    • Supervise daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures
    • Ensure effective stock control, stock loss prevention, and merchandising standards
    • Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
    • Support staff training, onboarding, performance management, and discipline where required
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
    • Step into the Manager on duty MOD (Manager on Duty) role when required

    • Strong understanding of cash handling, stock management, and retail administration
    • Good working knowledge of retail policies, procedures, and compliance
    • Proven experience managing customer service, staff, stock, and sales
    • Excellent organisational and planning skills
    • Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
