    Technical Support Consultant, Highveld eMalahleni

    Job Description

    • iStore is the home of everything Apple, and Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller. With a retail footprint of more than 41 physical and online stores across Africa that provide expert advice, Apple Authorised Repairs, Business, Education, training and technical support for anything and everything Apple. 
    • The iStore Technical Support Technicians are a combination of technically strong individuals with great people skills.  
    • Your role would be to provide technical support to the iStore customers, through trouble shooting, resolving technical issues and software support. You will also provide training and assistance to iStore customers when required as well as exceptional and professional quality support service.

    You need to have:

    • Completed National Senior Certificate/Matric (Minimum requirement)
    • IT qualification (minimum A+/N+)
    • Experience in Helpdesk/1st Line Support
    • Live within 20km of the mall
    • be available to work retail hours (including weekends and public holidays)

    Support Technician

    Job Description

    • At iStore Business, we don't just support technology — we enable businesses to perform at their best. We’re looking for a Support Technician who thrives on solving problems, delivering exceptional service, and keeping clients connected and productive.

    What you’ll be doing

    You’ll be the go-to expert for our business clients, ensuring their Apple ecosystems and supporting infrastructure run smoothly:

    • Respond to inbound support tickets via phone, email, and remote tools
    • Troubleshoot macOS, iOS, and iPadOS issues for end users
    • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
    • Support Microsoft 365 user issues — email, Teams, OneDrive, licensing
    • Enrol, configure, and troubleshoot devices in Intune, Jamf, or Mosyle
    • Support zero-touch and manual device deployments
    • Push profiles, policies, and app deployments via MDM
    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of devices and users
    • Provide clear, professional communication throughout every ticket
    • Log all tickets accurately in the PSA/RMM tool and contribute to the knowledge base
    • Escalate unresolved issues to senior consultants with clear documentation

    What we’re looking for

    Experience & Skills:

    • 1–2 years in an IT support, helpdesk, or desktop technician role
    • Solid working knowledge of macOS and iOS troubleshooting
    • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 — Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, licensing
    • Basic understanding of MDM concepts (Intune, Jamf, or Mosyle a plus)
    • Experience with remote support tools (TeamViewer, Zoom, etc.)
    • Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
    • Organised approach to managing multiple open tickets simultaneously

    Qualifications:

    • Matric (essential)
    • IT diploma, A+ certification, or equivalent practical experience
    • CompTIA A+ / N+ (preferred)
    • Apple or Microsoft certifications (advantageous)
    • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) — advantageous

    • This is a flexible role, where you will support the store team during busy trading periods to help deliver an exceptional customer experience. Shifts will be scheduled as needed, particularly during late trading hours, weekends, and public holidays, to help alleviate pressure on permanent staff.
    • Our iStore Sales Consultants are responsible for maximising sales opportunities in the store while delivering outstanding customer service.
    • You will ensure that all customers receive a hands-on experience with the latest Apple technology and services. You will proactively approach and engage with customers to understand their needs, present complete solutions, and create memorable in-store experiences.

    Inventory Controller, Kempton Park

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced and solutions-driven Inventory Controller to take ownership of inventory accuracy and stock integrity. This role is responsible for maintaining effective inventory control processes, identifying risks and discrepancies, and implementing sustainable solutions that improve operational efficiency.
    • The successful candidate will be analytical, process-oriented, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement. They will work closely with multiple departments, building strong relationships to ensure accurate stock management and smooth operational execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Inventory Control & Stock Management

    • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity at all times.

    • Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
    • Monitor stock movements and ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded.

    Operational Support

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

    Experience

    • 3–5 years' experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations within a distribution centre or warehouse environment.
    • Proven experience managing inventory accuracy, stock reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
    • Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
