    Head of Execution Excellence

    What will you do

    • Responsible for ensuring that the company's business operations are running smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on achieving the highest possible level of execution performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to drive continuous improvement and deliver outstanding  results.

     The Head of Execution role is a critical role for the South Africa organization with the following key responsibilities:

    •  Drive commercial and brand innovation through to execution, developing winning executional plans across The Channels, Customers and GFOs
    •  Drive profitability and ROI through developing, embedding and tracking RGM governance and execution

    initiatives

    •  Convert Internal/External sales and profitability Data into actionable insights
    •  Lead the Shopper Marketing Strategy from development to execution

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Owner of Physical Availability enhancement for SSA
    • Achieve and enhance SSA Perfect store KPIs (OSA-SOS-Hand &Eye Level and low Stock Level reporting to relevant channel head) using the available tools to measure and take actions accordingly to enhance in collaboration with channel heads.
    • Ensure & Enhance customer store Availability and Visibility implementation in compliance to BDA contractual terms/activity.
    • Ensure implementation of Monthly Marketing activity “non-Contractual.”
    • Enhance Distribution with the intent of achieving SSA sales target.
    • Ensure perfect landing for NPIs with full speed in term of Distribution, Availability, and Visibility.
    • Ensure customer’s implementation of agreed trade promotion and Promotion POSM materials.
    • Provide weekly report on competition activity in the market (NPIs, Activations, etc)
    • Provide weekly promo grid report for us and competition “Share of Folder.”
    • Lead Operations support to articulate and update Operations Sales route plan on Monthly Basis in collaborations with Channel Heads
    • Ensure full compliance of merchandiser team visit SOPs in term of accuracy and integrity.
    • Capture business development growth opportunities for example “new store openings, recruiting potential customers, and identifying opportunities for business development across SSA on the spot.
    • Ensure continuous development of merchandiser/sales team and sales team through training on business acumen and soft skills.
    • Coordinating road show/cycle brief events preparation and arrangements with office admin and cross function

    National Operations Team

    •  Lead the development and execution of best in class in-store capabilities and training models
    •  Support the Commercial leadership team in negotiating and shaping the contracts and/or SLAs with sales agency partners to provide the best ROI possible, while ensuring the highest level of execution
    •  Drive the Perfect Store agenda and lead Execution KPIs management and tracking
    •  Lead the development of key sales and merchandising strategies for sales operations team including the review, development, and deployment of revised personnel structures where necessary and appropriate

     

    • Shopper Marketing & Category Management
    •  Leading the shopper and category strategy in line with the Company strategy
    •  Play key role in determining company strategy
    •  Develop and lead the formulation of effective ranging, merchandising, pricing, availability, promotional & POS strategies by channel and customer.
    •  At times be the voice of the Customer – ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders to help influence Shopper strategy to drive business results

    Building capability and sharing best practice

    •  Drive the embedding of the Kenvue Way in approach to Execution Excellence and ensuring that execution is in line with/ahead of external best practice
    •  Support Key account teams with actionable and innovative analytics driven insight using internal and external data sources

    People Management/ Leadership

    •  Direct line management of 3-4 individuals, with extended oversight of larger structure that includes third party providers
    •  Drive engagement and energy of total function through development of a clear and compelling team purpose and vision
    •  Key customer development leader, supporting the development and embedding of a brand-new function with Ambiguous boundaries

    Qualifications
    What we are looking for

    •  7 – 10 years related experience
    •  Relevant Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Marketing, Operations, Analytics or related field
    •  Master’s degree or MBA considered favourably
    •  Solid understating of customer landscape across South Africa
    •  Engaging leadership style and ability to lead large team in a complex and ambiguous environment
    •  Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions and teams
    •  Strong commercial acumen and strategic agility
    •  Good IT skills (especially Excel)
    •  3-5 years people management experience

    Specific Requirements:

    •  Member of leadership team (local or regional)
    •  Experience and proven track record in successful product launches following a focused strategy
    •  Great business financial understanding and experience
    •  Experience of both pharmacy and mass market
    •  Strong Communication and Collaboration skills
    •  Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams and projects
    •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
    •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all
    •  organizational levels
    •  Solid understanding of FMCG industry trends, challenges, and best practices
    •  Experience in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, is considered a plus
    •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    •  Ability to travel as needed for business requirements 1-2 times a month

    Total Rewards Senior Manager EMEA

    What will you do

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • The Total Rewards Leader EMEA is responsible for the compensation and benefits strategy and design for assigned cluster of countries.
    • Provide strategic business support and implement solutions enabling the business to achieve its organization, talent, and growth objectives.
    • Provide compensation and benefits leadership for a cluster of EMEA countries including, but not limited to, local compensation and benefits program design and implementation, health and welfare, perks, leaves, disability, and broad base compensation including restructurings, retention, year-round compensation planning, and job leveling.
    • Represent the Company in external forums that aim at benchmarking talent practices and shaping the competitive talent landscape.
    • Partner with business leaders, Human Resources (HR), and Global Services to develop and deploy total reward solutions that drive outcomes for the business and are linked to the New Consumer Health Company's overall Total Rewards strategy.
    • Provide proactive and strategic business support by understanding key business challenges and opportunities and proactively providing solutions to enable the EMEA region to achieve it’s growth objectives.
    • Lead change and communication strategies for our rewards programs that are tailored to the HR community, leadership, and employees.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications - External

    Required: 

    • A  minimum of a Bachelor’s degree 
    • A minimum of 10 years of progressive Total Rewards experience specifically with compensation, benefits, and pensions and the design, implementation, and/or management of Total Rewards programs and processes 
    • A minimum of 3 years of people management experience 
    • The ability to operate as an agile leader with understanding and appreciation for regional and country differences 
    • Strong influence leadership skills in an indirect, matrix-based, and virtual environment 
    • Experienced in shaping solutions with strong communication and collaboration skills 
    • Relationship management, coaching, and collaboration skills with leaders at all levels 
    • Experience developing strategies, in alignment with functional HR strategy, to execute and ensure the availability of resources and the best quality service 
    • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and daily planned and unplanned operational activities 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities along with formal presentation and facilitation skills 
    • Must be able to maintain confidential information 

    Preferred:

    • Healthcare or related industry experience 
    • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist or a similar certification 
    • Experience with continuous improvement and quality, such as Six Sigma or Lean Methodology
