    Senior Management: Applications Training

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Support the department in developing and implementing strategies and roadmaps (from a Application Training perspective) to ensure a comprehensive and integrated function. 
    • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of governance mechanisms for Application Training and monitor the adherence thereto so as to deliver quality products in a controlled environment. 
    • Manage the design, development, maintenance and evaluation of solution training material and online reference. 
    • Develop and execute stakeholder relationship management plans to enable effective management and improvement of stakeholder relationships. 
    • Ensure that resources are kept abreast of the latest industry developments and ensure that appropriate technologies are used for knowledge management so as to ensure that innovation and improved productivity. 
    • Ensure effective management of resources (i.e. budget/finances, asset) within the Unit. 
    • Ensure effective Human Capital Management (Leadership). 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3 year National Diploma / Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) - at least NQF level 6 or a verified / certified alternative ICT equivalent @ NQF Level 6. 
    • Experience: 8 – 9 years' experience in the application/IT training environment, including the planning, development, implementation, maintenance and quality assurance of training solutions. A minimum of 7 years management experience in an application/IT training environment.

    Specialist: EUC Information System Security Operations

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Perform ongoing monitoring of information systems and assess threats and risks to information security. 
    • Coordinate security awareness and training programs to increase employees ' overall understanding, reaction time and the ability to envisage the company's potential safety and compliance requirements. 
    • Perform compliance assessments and vulnerability assessments to ensure government and citizen information is secure. 
    • Attend to all logged security incidents. 
    • Collaborate and partner with internal business representatives to recommend appropriate products so that the solutions are developed with relevant security system design specifications. 
    • Execute activities related to the implementation, and maintenance of information security controls and services aligned to the cyber security framework, policies, standards and procedures. 
    • Management and Administration of the PFMA act. 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Required Qualification: 3 Years National Diploma / National Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Network Management or a relevant discipline NQF level 6 qualification. 
    • Certification: Security + or Microsoft Security Certifications. Added Advantage: ITIL foundation and COBIT Introduction, Certified information system security professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Management (CISM) 

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure or Information Security (IS) or application life cycle management which should include the following: Working knowledge of information technology security configurations on the LAN/WAN infrastructure. Understanding firewalls and switch management technology.
    • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF; GWEA; MIOS). knowledge of governance processes and standards (e.g. ISO 27001/ 27002; COBIT; ITIL). Exposure to information system security technical standards (e.g.: SSL certificates, anti-virus protection, etc.).
    • Knowledge of technical monitoring and administration of various technical security solutions e.g. Anti-malware Management, Email Security Management, Privileged Account Management, Microsoft Security and Azure Security (MFA, Defender, DLP, Bitlocker, Sentinel, Intune, etc.).

    • 6-7 years Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure or Information Security (IS) or application life cycle management which should include the following: Working knowledge of information technology security risk management; Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF; GWEA; MIOS); knowledge of governance processes and standards (e.g. ISO 27001/27002; COBIT; ITIL); Exposure to information system security technical standards (e.g.: SSL certificates, anti-virus protection, etc.); Experienced in (e.g. Service Management, Converge Communication, Risk Management, Information Technology, Applications, etc.).

    Specialist: Server Administrator - SITA Nelspruit

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Investigate/confirm/refer/log a call to upgrade the server. 
    • Rectify the faults affecting the availability of the server. 
    • Installation of servers 
    • Implement procedures and standards for Directory Integrated Systems, Servers and related services and monitor adherence thereof. 
    • Resolution and handling of medium operational Incidents as per SLA incident handling timeframes. 

     
    Qualifications and Experience 
    Minimum:

    • 3 - Year National Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, or IT/ related fields (NQF level 6) PLUS MCSA/ MCSE/ MCITP/ Microsoft Azure Certifications/ Microsoft 365 Certifications.  

    Certification:

    • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate - Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Azure SAP Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate  

    Experience:

    •  3-5 years’ experience as a Server Administrator in the provisioning, support and maintenance and support of all Server related Infrastructure such as Enterprise Directory Services, virtualization and server infrastructure technology stack. Experience in working within the ITIL Framework for Incident, Problem, Change, or Service Experience in the design, planning, implementation of an Enterprise Server solutions and services.

    Consultant: End User Computing Technician

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Manage the provision of desktop support services.

Experience in working within the ITIL Framework for Incident, Problem, Change, or Service Request Management. Experience in the design, planning, implementation of ICT solutions and services.

    Junior Infrastructure Provisioning
