    IT Systems & Network Administrator

    Responsibilities

    End User Computing:

    • Design, Deployment, Maintenance, Optimisation of end user Computer Infrastructure
    • Setting up and keeping documentation up to date

    Network Infrastructure:

    • Design, Deployment, Maintenance, Optimisation of Network Infrastructure
    • Setting up and keeping network documentation up to date

    Server Infrastructure:

    • Deployment, Maintenance, Optimisation of Server Infrastructure
    • Keeping server documentation up to date

    Software / SaaS:

    •  Deployment, Maintenance, Optimisation of Software / SaaS solutions
    •  Setting up and keeping Software / SaaS solutions documentation up to date

    Cybersecurity:

    • Deployment, Maintenance, Optimisation of Cybersecurity Softlutions
    • Form part of Incident Response efforts
    • Keeping security documentation up to date

    Support:

    • Providing support to users and being the escalation point
    •  Monitor and manage new and reopened tickets.
    • Provide accurate high-level support towards end-users regarding their IT related issues and provide accurate and timely feedback (Level 2 - 3)
    •  Follow-up with the end-user to ensure that the issue is resolved
    • Aid fellow team members where necessary

    Backups:

    •  Maintenance of backup solutions
    •  Keeping backup documentation up to date
    • Testing of backup solutions
    • Assist with disaster recovery solutions

    Requirements

    Qualification and Experience

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Relevant degree, diploma – completed or in progress - recommended
    • CompTIA Certifications (A+, N+, Security+ or Equivalent) required
    • Relevant Microsoft Certifications essential
    • 5+ years IT related work experience required
    • MikroTik  and SonicWall Certifications (MTCNA & MTCRE) would be advantageous
    • Must be in possession of a valid SA driver’s licence
    • Reliable own transport
    • This role does require standby

    Warehouse Manager

    Responsibilities

    Warehouse, Distribution & Planning     

    • Execution of FEFO/FIFO
    • Ensure that finished goods & raw material are packed correctly
    • Manage the picking of stock process
    • General housekeeping of stores and the organizing the correct storage of raw materials and packaging materials
    • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
    • Plan future capacity requirements
    • Responsible for reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
    • Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
    • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are correct
    • Manage annual procedure updates

    Quality Control & Food Safety  

    • Ensure that all products are visually QC checked and stored in the correct manner
    • Ensure that hygiene and proper sanitation practices are maintained as per the company’s food safety standards
    • Ensure that food safety rules are always followed

    Hygiene and housekeeping management            

    • Ensure that proper controls are exercised over personal hygiene and protective clothing
    • Ensure that good housekeeping practices are adhered to in the front yard areas of the plant, as well as the loading and dock level area

    Utilization of personnel and equipment              

    • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and effectively utilized
    • Ensure that daily checks on equipment are executed
    • Ensure that all stores pedestrian doors and roll up doors remain closed as much as possible
    • Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met

    Monitoring and improvement of warehouse processes 

    • Monitor existing processes and procedures to ensure maximum utilization of resources
    • Ensure accurate monthly stock counts
    • Ensure stock control processes are followed to minimize unauthorized removal of product/materials from the store or warehouse premises
    • Ensure the timeously loading of vehicles

    Health and safety           

    • Ensure that store and warehouse standards are in compliance with national safety regulations
    • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
    • Participate in safety forums and attend relevant training/programmes
    • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
    • Comply with safety policies and procedures
    • Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times

    Employee management and development

    • Ensure overall compliance to relevant procedures and policies
    • Ensure that all team members have clearly defined job profiles
    • Regular goal reviews are completed to assess achievement of results
    • Support, coaching and mentoring is continuously provided to ensure that objectives are met
    • Appropriate allocation of resources to meet operational demands
    • Ensure adequate succession planning in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirements

    Requirements

    Qualification and Experience

    • 2 Year Diploma in Warehousing/Logistics or Degree in Warehousing/Logistics or Supply Chain recommended
    • 5 Years’ relevant working experience in a FMCG or similar environment
    • Working experience with regards to stock management essential
    • Computer literacy on MS Office packages with specific reference to Excel
    • Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
    • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and control procedures essential
    • Familiar with HACCP or FSSC22000 recommended
