    Requirements

    • Educational requirement is Matric/Grade 12 with a Formal Tertiary Qualification in Chemistry - National Diploma or BTech or B.Sc. Degree or an Equivalent Qualification as per the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) - SAQA would be considered. Practical work experience of 10 years or more will also be considered.
    • Minimum 5 years practical experience in a Pharmaceutical Laboratory.
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and quality control requirements pertaining to the manufacture of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s).
    • Must have experience in or knowledge of the API Testing Environment.
    • Must be computer literate.
    • Good knowledge of Analytical Chemistry.
    • Good organizational and record keeping skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good communication (written and verbal) with report writing and document reviewing skills
    • Ability to operate laboratory equipment and critically evaluate data.
    • Willing to work after hours and overtime when required.

    Marketing Manager - Ethicare

    Description
    OBJECTIVE: To lead, manage and provide strategic & tactical direction for the efficient and effective running of the Marketing departments within Ethicare divisions. Responsible for the development and execution of the strategic and tactical marketing plans for key focus brands in order to ensure market share growth and return on investment on marketing and brand initiatives.
    MAIN OBJECTIVES:

    • Manage together with the Commercial Heads and the Finance department, the setting of the annual sales budget by brand and P&L objectives.
    • Monitor portfolio mix vs. budget in terms of turnover and brand profitability.
    • Lead, manage and direct the Brand Management team to ensure the achievement of revenue budgets within the expense budget framework.
    • To provide ongoing support and development of marketing team.
    • Set, review and control Expenses Budget for marketing division, to drive robust return on investment.
    • To oversee and challenge annual brand plan development to ensure alignment with business unit plans.
    • Manage and lead the Forecasting and Budgeting process along with demand planning, supply chain and Factory/CMO suppliers.
    • Drive forecast accuracy, improving stock availability while managing stock holding, avoiding write-offs.
    • Involvement with NPL teams to ensure adequate pipeline development, in line with company expectation.
    • Successfully launch new products with feedback process, including suggested corrective actions and post launch research implementation.
    • Manage the processes between Marketing and Business Partner Functions to create brand strategies, new product strategies and manage annual advertising budget.
    • Drive appointment of, monitoring and development of core marketing suppliers in order to ensure strategic business advantage.
    • Ensure that appropriate time is allocated in field with sales managers and reps to understand customer insights.

    Requirements
    EDUCATION:

    • Degree in Health Sciences or Health Science related
    • Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Marketing

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager, leading a team of brand managers, in the Pharmaceutical industry across various therapeutic areas
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand Management, across diverse therapeutic areas and healthcare product/ category range required
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales environment across Healthcare products (scheduled and non-scheduled) required
    • Proven track record in driving implementation of marketing plans and processes
    • Having prior sales and/or marketing experience in consumer, originator, and generic healthcare segments advantageous.

    Group Finance Projects Junior Accountant

    Description
    ROLE PURPOSE:
    To implement, manage & control new group finance projects to improve efficiencies and ensure adherence to financial policies & procedures and controls. Perform ad hoc Financial Management or other key Finance Roles to Group companies.
    SPECIFIC OUTCOMES / ACCOUNTABILITY:
    PROJECTS – OVERALL

    • Using Project brief from top management, do detailed analysis of Business Entity needs and compile Project Plan and Approach/Charter

    Requirements
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Good to at least have supervision of staff at article clerk level Prior experience in the interpretation and use of accounting standards and the Companies Act
