    Regional Manager

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Oversee ± 5 B. Braun renal units in the Northern Cape, North-West & Free State.
    • Travel to various units often to ensure B. Braun company standards are being upheld.
    • Ensure a good working relationship is maintained between Unit Staff and the relevant Doctors.
    • Responsible for quality patient care, leadership and supervision of field nursing staff to ensure safe, effective and efficient patient care in accordance with B. Braun standards.
    • Attend various meetings as and when required to ensure smooth running units.
    • Management and monitoring of both acute and chronic dialysis processes.
    • Provide supervisory visits to contracted hospitals and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory agencies.
    • Ensure legislative adherence to Health and Safety.
    • Supervises and conducts personnel actions such as performance appraisals, performance management, transfers and corrective and/or disciplinary procedures for employee issues.
    • Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating performance of all personnel, as well as monitoring, checking, approving and submitting all hours worked.
    • Effective management of Stock and Asset Control .
    • Performs all other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.

    Professional competencies

    • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse with Nephrology or with HPCSA as a Graduate Clinical Technologist.
    • BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology) .
    • Renal experience (Essential).
    • 5+ years Management Experience (essential).
    • Unit Management Experience (essential).
    • Nephrology Course ( Essential) .
    • MS package (Essential).
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (essential).
    • Management Courses (advantageous).
    • Budget Management Courses (advantageous).
    • PD Experience (advantageous).
    • Willing to work flexible hours if necessary.
    • Must be willing to travel often.

    Unit Manager (New Castle / Mount Frere / New Castle)

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Ensure existing and new staff are trained regarding Patient Control Sheet System.
    • Monthly reports must be drawn up and sent to the Regional Manager
    • Ensure staff adhere to the Time and Attendance system.
    • Draw up and ensure that the Regional Manager has been supplied with a copy of the draft roster monthly.
    • Advise staff of current and revised Company Policies and Procedures.
    • Arrange with HR Business Partner for Unit staff to attend training courses and or congresses.
    • Recruitment of new staff.
    • Supervise and evaluate the quality of the patient care provided.
    • Plan and conduct performance appraisals twice yearly and provide Head Office with copies.
    • Ensure accurate monitoring and recording of stock in accordance with Head Office Procedures.
    • Ordering of stock.
    • Strict adherence to capturing DataWise information.
    • Maintenance of Kidney Wise program.
    • Ensure strict adherence to all company Policies .

    Professional competencies

    • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or with HPCSA as a Graduate Clinical Technologist.
    • Previous Management Experience Advantageous.
    • Nephrology Course (Essential) .
    • BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology) .
    • MS package (Essential).
    • Willing to work flexible hours if necessary.

    • Renal experience (Essential).
    • BLS certificate (Validity Essential).

    Area Sales Executive – Infusion Systems and Anesthesia KwaZulu-Natal (Coastal)

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Infusion Systems and Anesthetic solutions to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, nursing staff, and purchasing departments.
    • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals to ensure proper understanding and usage of B. Braun products.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the KwaZulu-Natal region, expanding the client base and market reach.
    • Provide excellent after-sales support and service, handling product inquiries, troubleshooting, and providing ongoing training as required.
    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies related to Infusion Systems and Anesthetic related products.

    Professional competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, or minimum 3-4 years related medical sales experience.
    • Proven experience in medical sales, particularly in the fields of Infusion Systems and Anesthetic related products.
    • Strong knowledge of the medical field and healthcare landscape in KwaZulu-Natal.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large geographical region.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
