    Technical Solutions Architect - Cloud Infrastructure & Software Group

    What You'll Do

    • As a Technical Solutions Architect, you play a key role in the success of Cisco field sales teams in selling our technology products and solutions tailored to customers. You will work together with other Cloud Infrastructure & Software Group (CISG) specialists to position our software, unified computing & cloud networking solutions. You will drive presales engineering and will collaborate with other teams across organizational boundaries and geographies to overcome technical and commercial challenges to win against opposing offerings.

    • Your background is around Software Development, Cloud, Compute & Network Architectures. If you have experience with Cisco products, even better. Software solutions and distributed systems, monitoring and observability tools, data center networking, converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, storage systems, backup solutions. Experience with cloud Technologies, virtualization and observability are of high interest.

    Our minimum requirements for this role include:

    • Stamina to overcome challenges
    • The ability and comfort level to present easily to customer architects, engineers, managers, and executives to effective position the value of the Cisco solutions and how it solves the customer problems or achieves their goals
    • Basic knowledge of Cisco Data Center product portfolio is a must
    • Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, infrastructure (networks and servers) and software solutions are a must
    • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing and cloud architectures - IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Private and Public Clouds
    • Familiarity with the Cisco Full-Stack Observability tools (AppDynamics, ThousandEyes and Intersight) are a big plus
    • Network routing and switching with extensive knowledge of L2 and L3 protocols
    • Programming or scripting skills are seen as a plus
    • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or Cloud Certifications are a plus
    • Fluency in German, French and English is a strong plus.

    Senior Renewals Manager, Enterprise

    What You'll Do

    • The new Customer Experience Renewal Manager (RM) role is a highly visible, strategic position to empower key customers to continue to transform their business and meet their objectives through Cisco solutions. We are ideally looking for a senior RM who has some Team Leading experience, as you will be supporting more junior members of the team and also taking the lead with key senior stakeholders and customers. You will be accountable for owning and executing a portfolio of renewal contracts of Cisco products and services across an assigned customer account. RM's work with customers, partners and across Cisco teams to develop a complete, deep view of customer requirements and objectives and define a strategy to drive renewals to on-time closure, as well as minimize renewals risk and financial attrition. You will bring strong knowledge of negotiation strategies and orchestrates cross-functional resources across the company and with partners to provide a unified path to secure every renewal.

    Key responsibilities and activities include:

    • Develop knowledge base of end-to-end renewals cycle including up-sells and close on-time contracts for assigned accounts
    • Learn customer’s industry/business
    • Articulate Sales/BD/Renewals hand offs
    • Aware of Cisco's technology and what differentiates our products from competitors. Guidance required on regular basis.
    • Executes renewal contracts for products and services on small accounts with low complexity
    • Builds quotes, review contract terms, negotiation pricing, identify up-sell opportunities and handle objections.
    • Monitors quote creation progress to mitigate contract closure risks.
    • Conduct analysis and provides recommendations to maximum value
    • Conduct process management and financial assessments to support renewals process
    • Supports Account Manager in negotiations to drive integrity of the renewal portion of the agreement
    • Monitor and reports state of customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects
    • Assist Renewals team with ad hoc requests to meet customer need
    • Initiates the start of cross-functional relationships with Sales, BD and Operations

    Who You Are

    • Team Leading experience 1 year +
    • Experience of working across SSA – please provide countries or anything specific
    • You analyze the customer environment, industry, market impact and Cisco footprint
    • You can implement policies for forecasting, data quality and accuracy
    • You'll build an understanding of Customer and Partners procurement processes
    • You will gain experience with CRM tools i.e. SFDC
    • You'll develop basic consultative selling skills
    • You love executing win-back strategies for inactive customers

    Who You Are

    • Recent graduate or on your final year of studies towards a degree or related program or other academic certification, ideally in any of: Business and Management, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, MIS, Engineering or other related degrees.
    • Fluent in English
    • Willing to relocate for 12 months to a designated CSAP training hub as required. Immigration and relocation support will be provided should the program be delivered in training hubs as opposed to virtually.
    • Technology enthusiast who enjoys innovating
    • Technical skills/background acquired through placement, online trainings or university curriculum.
