Large Transportation Company in Pretoria North (Akasia) is looking for a Debtor’s Clerk.

Job Description

• Receive incoming pods daily from operations

• Send Pods for copies

• Receiving load confirmations to match with specific pods

• Scanning - Nerc pods for sending via email

• Invoicing daily

• Responsible to complete post net waybills and sending the original invoices

• Responsible to capture all invoices on own recon for specific debtor.

• Ensure that every client receive monthly statements

• Capture payments (Pastel)

• Ensure that the debtor accounts reconciled at the end of each month with Pastel and Own Recon.

• Responsible to assist debtors with invoice and/or pod queries.

Qualifications

• Matric

• Comp literate: MS Office

• Pastel Proficient

Salary: R13 000 - 15 000 per month

Job Description

• Develop, using the scrum methodology

• Participate in technical planning and implementation meetings

• Participate in the daily stand-up meetings

• Participate in Sprint Planning Development Cycles

• Do code reviews and maintain levels of quality control

• Perform unit testing on newly developed features

• Be able to accurately estimate development efforts

• Integration of various platforms and hardware systems at protocol level

• Maintenance, debugging and problem-solving of existing software products and/or custom client solutions

Qualifications

• The successful candidate should possess a B.Sc or B.Eng electronic/computer degree or higher with at least 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience integrating systems and platforms

• Experience working with the following:

• AngularJS / Ionic

• Elixir (advantageous)

• C/C++

• Python (advantageous)

• FreeRTOS (advantageous)

• TCP/IP, XML, JSON, REST

• Experience working with software packages like Git and JIRA.

• Experience with embedded systems development will be advantageous.

• Experience working with computer vision and other machine learning frameworks will be advantageous.

• Working knowledge of SNMP and MQTT will be advantageous.

• Embedded Linux, driver development will be advantageous.

Job Description

• This position for a Marketing Manager will require the successful candidate to develop and implement a marketing strategy that will expand the existing client base and penetrate new markets.

• In addition the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the update and maintenance of the website.

• The liaison with existing sub-contractors and recruitment of reputable new sub-contractors

• This position for a Marketing Manager will require the successful candidate to penetrate new markets through lead generation and establish profitable revenue generation through new business development. 

• In addition it is of utmost importance for the Marketing Manager to ensure that current client base is serviced and all their needs are met within a timeously matter.

• The liaison with existing sub-contractors and recruitment of reputable new sub-contractors.

• The successful Marketing Manager will be responsible for the update of the company website and social media pages.

Qualifications

• The applicant must be in possession of at least a National Diploma in Marketing, preferably a B degree with marketing as major subject.

• The qualification must be supported with a minimum of 6 years related marketing/ customer relations experience in the Transport/ Logistics industry and with a sound track record.

• The successful applicant must be willing to travel and represent the company at executive level.
