    Enaex Africa Ops Chargehand Community Learnership

    Description

    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up)
    • Provide information regarding Health & Safety of Enaex Africa equipment to mine and Enaex employees.
    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up)
    • Assist Service Technician in maintenance of DDS™ Equipment
    • Density checks and records
    • Day to day inspections and minor repairs on DDS™ equipment
    • Oversee mine trained employee to do daily checklist. Mine employee to hand checklist to his mine supervisor.
    • First responder to breakdowns (All minor issues on shift)
    • Reporting on levels of DDS™ emulsions and delivery dates for emulsion
    • Offloading of the DDS ™ delivery tanker & weighbridge notes sign
    • Reporting on spares used and stock level to Service Technician
    • Report of spillages to mine personnel to arrange for clean-up
    • Report status of good housekeeping around silos to mine.
    • Follow up on recommendations and implementation of proposals
    • Identify incorrect charging up practices
    • Conduct blast surveys according to the designed criteria
    • Demonstrate the charging up and connecting of all Enaex explosives products
    • Apply the use of the product as per the product application training
    • Apply the safe handling, storage and transport of explosives
    • Ensure correct PPE is used, as well as that PPE is in good condition and correctly worn/used
    • Maintain housekeeping of work area
    • Identify workplace hazards and associated risks and deal with it appropriately (Hirac & Risk Assessment)
    • Comply with the Mine’s safety and health procedures
    • Maintain basic safety, health and environmental issues
    • Assess the product application practices
    • Identify incorrect product application practices
    • Demonstrate and coach the correct practices
    • Adhere to Enaex code of practice and procedures
    • Adhere to mine Health & Safety requirements
    • Work according to the hours of the mine set

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Applicants must live in North West Province and Communities
    • Applicants must be 18 years or older
    • Must have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
    • Clear Criminal Record
    • Medically Fit for Duty

    Enaex Africa Administrative Learnership Opportunity

    Description

    • Administrators ensure that team meet targets, due dates, and quality standard, complete all tasks in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of financial planning and control principles.
    • Monitor and maintain all Enaex Africa equipment, time, and infrastructure, ensure all clerical tasks are planned, controlled organize and reported as per Enaex Africa requirements, identify potential challenges.
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers and peers.
    • Improve personal work processes and manage, capture, and process warehouse reports.
    • Order and manage stationery and manage employee files on site.

    This 1-year contract Learnership Opportunity is available to all suitably qualified community members in and around Rustenburg area.

    Enaex Africa Explosives Operator Community Learnership

    Description

    The role provides operational support in the charging and blasting related functions at open cast mines.

    • Comply with all Customer rules and procedures when operating at Customer sites
    • Assist the Explosives Controller to conduct routine fault finding, trouble shooting, maintenance and repairs on the MMU process plant and chassis
    • Assist the Site Administrator with stock control
    • Load and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials
    • Unload raw materials (emulsion Matrix and Expand tankers)
    • Close blast holes with the correct stemming material to above the collar of the blast hole
    • Perform the duties of a blast guard as required
    • Cleaning and decontamination of MMU.
    • Identification of any abnormal conditions on the MMU and within the work area and reporting thereof to the Explosives Controller and/or Site Supervisor
    • Maintain ownership of bulk explosives MMU by conducting good housekeeping of the cab, chassis and plant.

    Requirements

    • Applicants must reside in Northern Cape Province and Communities
    • Applicants must be 18 years or older
    • Must have completed N3 / Grade 12 
    • Clear Criminal Record
    • Medically Fit for Duty
